I personally think make up is so ****ing gross .. It can be good if only some eye liner and lipstick .. I can understand that but wtf is with all the other stuff ? Like sorry but if i wanted to see a painting id rather see it hanging on a wall or something -.-

Also it costs alot of money and most stuff damages skin on the long run .. Lets be real putting chemicals on your face can't be good .. Or can it ?

Like why would girls use that stuff ?

Makeup is for enhancing beauty and hidding hideousness. I've spoken to so many chicks that looked great from afar and once you approach they have acne and skin breakouts under their makeup with a bunch of other flaws one can see from close, and some put on so much that they look like clowns like my friends ex. Makeup is not gross, over usage of makeup is bad.

I am fine with body builders even tho i don't like the way they look most of the times but i admire them .. They work hard and make themselves into stronger humans naturally .. That's like having a small plant and taking extra care of it untill it blooms and reaches it's peak.

Northern part of our country is rainy and cold in winters; there are lots of green trees and bushes but it is not that flowery at some places. When we visit a town there my friend have seen plastic flowers put on green bushes because people like flowers and want to see them more but there are not much of them.

People have reasons for doing things; make up or other alterations. It is not gross and there are natural make up materials which are less harmful.

You might dislike the idea of using them, but someone else might like it and they are not gross for it. It can be used as art like another member pointed it out, they are very helpful for people who have damaged skins due to accidents/illnesses or some people might just like using them.

What you're into is art, yes. What the average girl is trying to do with their make-up is raise their ***-appeal.

My girlfriend doesn't wear any make-up, ever and I prefer her that way. All natural, no surprises when I wake up to her. (lol)

If you apply foundation right, you can't even tell you're wearing it. There's balance in makeup application.

But you have to admire the talent that goes into makeup as well. There's subtlety and finesse in well done, "every-day" makeup. It doesn't have to be grotesque if applied well and to apply it well is a skill. Bodybuilding takes your body and turns it into something it wasn't before. Makeup takes the face and does the same.

What you're into is art, yes. What the average girl is trying to do with their make-up is raise their ***-appeal.

There's nothing wrong with people embracing their natural beauty. But if makeup makes a girl more confident in her daily life, then I don't see a problem with it.
