Kishi didnt even intend for this to be about ninjas. He said it was originally supposed to be about demons/magic and shit but he thought ninja's were more appealing. Thats the reason why the ninjas are more like mages that can summon/control demons and shit.

I already knew this information, and the real big reason was because Harry Potter came out around the same time and he didn't want to look like he was copying JK Rowling work so he put them as ninjas.

Hmm... I don't know if I have a 'best' or favourite manga/anime. All the ones I was/am into were enjoyable/meaningful in their own ways. I suppose the years I've spent reading Naruto helped make it all the more special. I have certainly grown attached to it and the characters.

I myself am a big fan of the manga (Anime is meh) so whenever I see people say "Naruto is the best manga ever" I die a little inside Lol it's not close to the best of all time, but is it fair to say it's the best ninja based manga of all time? :flakez:

Naruto isn't the best but it'll always have that special place in my life, as it was the one that introduced me to world of Manga. It's also the one that I spent most of the time on.

Taste differs from person to person. There's not a single best. That being sad, you can have relative good and bad.
I personally like it a lot. The ninja theme, the art style isn't anything special but it's easy to watch, lot's of characters and background stories which I like.

Not really imo. The whole ninja aspect died when summons and bijuu were introduced, so after the chunin exams stuff became less ninja and more megazord

Still liked it but it was indeed losing his ninja aspect. Especially during the War Arc.
