[Mystery] Loneliness

Silent,
Cold,
Void…

Enveloped by restraining shadows;
Cast aside and erased.
Around me slithers darkness and desolation,
Seeking to devour any tarrying grace.


Forsaken and forgotten,
I was left to rot away as bones to ashes.
My soul burns in hopes to be loved,
But its light has dwindled like a candle without matches.


Love, Happiness, Faith, Hope;
Where art thou?
Swallowed by darkness, ye are nowhere to be found.
To break away from this pain and suffering what must I endow?


I’ll surrender my life, my soul, my all
To feel loved for just a moment.
To be needed for just a moment.
To live for just a moment.​
