It's a matter of opinion when it comes to badassery, but I do agree that Madara is in another league when it comes to the things he achieved alone. Still, Sasuke's growth was impressive even prior to his Rikudou powerup, especially since he was just a teenager. Madara is just... Madara. He thinks and acts differently, has much more initiative and creativity than Sasuke, and ultimately follows his plans through.

He's better than Sasuke when it comes to certain qualities, while Sasuke has more natural progression.

Actually 17 year old Rinnegan Sasuke can also do the same to the 5 Kage, because both of them are so much stronger than those fodder(in comparison).

Still, we are talking about the term "badass", which always defined Sasuke, and he seems even more so now as an adult.

He also surpassed Madara in terms of power, not Juubi Jin though.

@Bold: lol, Sasuke and Madara will always be compared, they are the strongest Uchiha and both Indra trans-migrants, you are comparing them in this thread. =D

@bold Defeating the rival multiple times could have some significance, but it's not all there is to it. Firstly, Naruto was initally a fodder, whereas Hashirama was really skilled in his childhood. So that could be the reason Sasuke was able to defeat Naruto multiple times before there final fight, which was practically a draw.

In addition to that, both Madara and Sasuke were technically stronger than Hashirama and Naruto respectively at any point in time, but only IN TERMS OF POWER, a characteristic of Indra's transmigrants. But the results at the end of the battle have always been different, and the results never relied on the amount of power they possessed, but rather how effectively that power was utilized (Hashirama vs Madara) and their courage of achieving their purpose (Naruto vs Sasuke). Madara always lost to Hashirama (despite being stronger) but Sasuke never lost to Naruto (either always won or the battle was drawn, and was stronger). But despite not being able to physically conquer Sasuke, Naruto was definitely victorious (Sasuke admitted it), and his victory was quite a unique and special one. Because Sasuke despite being physically stronger, admitted his defeat to Naruto in terms of ideals i.e. Naruto dominated him regardless of his higher level of power. Because in the end, he was the one going Naruto's way. And that's quite an accomplishment if you ask me, making someone stronger than you to follow you. No other shinobi was able to do that. Naruto truly deserves to become Hokage. He was the only one who was able to break the chain of enmity and hatred between Indra and Ashura's transmigrants, something no previous reincarnations were able to do.

what are you trying to prove with those points?

1.sasuke fought along.and how come oro help him with his sharingan that much? anyway if you think sasuke didn't improve his sharingan ability after the time he train with oro you should read the manga again.

2. dont know about all the uchiha thechniques but madara having more knowledge than sasuke about uchiha is pretty simple to understand.he was a leader of uchiha he could learn everything from his family and clan secrets etc...
sasuke in other had was along.he dont have anyone to teach him about sharingan or uchiha tec.still he reached to madara level at the end.

3.again in madara era they had more knowledge and potential to learn and experiment things.in that case madara got rinnegen as free power up from hashi's some flesh.

at last no matter how much knowledge or tech he had madara couldn't defeat his revival even in his prime. all his life time he was chasing a lie planted by BZ.even after been the most powerful from all he still failed to achieved his goal. bt more like 17years old sasuke save the world and push back even jj madara.

but yes i respect madara always for some unique reasons.
