[Theory]Naruto Gaiden chapters & Naruto vs Sasuke

Theoretically if The Naruto Gaiden series serialization was broke into three parts
Use this as reference

The way it can be broken down is 3 chapters for 3 stories and 1 for the final story.

The first part of the serialization would be Sarada's side story(3 chapters)

The second part of the serialization would be Boruto's side story(3 chapters)

And the third part being Naruto and Sasuke as adults and their fight as equals(3 chapters)

And it leaves us with one more chapter that can possibly be a prologue about
The hidden Akatsuki member and onion Uchiha, which will pave the way for the movie that will be about Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki.(1 chapter)
Total of 10 chapters.


About the third part, Kishi may not elaborate or illustrate their fight(due to the minimum chapters) and leave us with our own imagination on how it went down. But with a certain twist. Just as rivals held bets before them in a friendly match like Kakashi and Gai, Naruto and Sasuke wage a friendly bet as well--The loser of the spare must train the winner's child.

The final page would be right before their spare with Naruto and Sasuke doing the unison sign as adults before they spare

A proper Naruto vs Sasuke needs around 10 chapters. 3 chapters is nothing more than teasing and light fan service, which will definitely be disappointing. Also, going by your theory, there's also no way Sarada's story is finishing in the next chapter.

It's more like the Gaiden is focused on her, the movie will be more about Boruto, while a final Naruto vs Sasuke will need its own form of serialization, whether it's a short manga, OVA, Gaiden, etc.

Well the other more probable idea is that the Gaiden will all be about Salada which I think is more than likely. I just wanted to throw out a theory I cooked up

As much as I would love that, don't get your hopes even at a mid level. I don't think he'll continue it, at least not until some time has passed(few years)

Nah, imo, that's just to keep the rivalry alive for the two. Not really for the readers to see another match. I could be wrong though.
