But for the record, Sakura outclasses Hinata overall.
It's just that Hinata has all the potential that can beat the Sakura.

I really dont patronize the Byakugo hypothethically re-enabling closed chakra points via jyuuken techs.
Hinata with hamura power-up is also a major plus for her.

I dunno, I a Hinata fan I guess.
I just always see this fight as a something between a single-blow powerhouse puncher with monstrous regenerative abilities and a close-range, chakra- disruptor combatant with an all seeing eye and high class chakra.

If only there would be an all-out scenario where these two kinds of peeps clash. UGH

What is this Hamura powerup?
Sakura still blitzes her, Kaguya wasn't even immune to Sakura's punch, if hinata did get some kind of power up, it doesn't stop her from being punched.
If Sakura doesn'y hold back, its neg. Sakura never really went all out in a fight, in her fight with Sasori she held back until the end, because she needed intel on Sasuke.
She held back with Ino.
She held back her strength with Zetsu, not killing him.

No one is denying she has hamura's chakra. All hyuuga have it. The question is "does it make a difference". Some summary of the movie said that when she met hamura, it activated the latent hamura chakra all hyuugas have in her. But from her attempt to break the tenseigan. It's safe to say that that chakra is not so much. So maybe in a fight (if it's still activated), it gives her some extra chakra. Big difference, hinata is fodder in strength hamura's chakra doesn't place her anywhere on a scale. Sakura still solos her.

As much as I want to put Hinata in the pedestal wher she should be [err, right she should be at the top <3],
it's a bit pushy to say that she is somwhat a Hamura reincarnate or something..

I am a Hinata fan, really. I love Naruto because I love Hinata, that's one of the many reasons I watch and read Naruto.

My take on the subject, I am happy Hinata is the one chosen to play that role to reprise the only Hyuuga to carry on the task of stopping Toneri's plot.

Please, No one's born with someone else's chakra. Chakra is your own personal spirit, something like that. Naruto has Ashura's chakra the same way sasuke has Indra's via transmigration. They arent born with it. They had Hagoromo's chakra because the old man give it to them. Naruto has Kushina's chakra because Minato has embedded it to him...

Hinata had that purple chakra because Hamura gave it to her. Maybe it is a temporary thing [please dont be, nah likely it is.]

Hinata can touch the altar because she is a Hyuuga, descendants of Hamura.

the purple lion fist sure is an upgrade, but the power scaling is rather vague... Dont misinterpret... the former blue lion fists are already formidable, those chakra drainers sure are deadly.
