Actually about the part where Sasuke had friends. Nagato had friends too. Even if they were poor and had to fight to survive they were still like family.

Nagato wasn't betrayed by the person the loved most in the world and he also wasn't tortured by by genjutsu twice forcing him to witness his loved ones dying over and over again.

Also I fail to see how having girls fawn over you makes any difference. That was attention that Sasuke didn't want. Nagato still enjoyed his time with Konan and she never left his side.

Nagato also had plenty more friends (comrades) when Akatsuki was just starting. Before Yahiko died.

The only thing Nagato's story has on Sasuke's is that Sasuke's had a good ending

I can't believe this is actually debatable. The girl thing was pure for laughs obviously. Their initial incidents were both traumatic but please.

If you had to pick between 'avenging, loved, protected, orphan prodigy' or 'surviving, homeless, orphan rebel'.
Nagato experienced both the death of his parents as well as his best friend dying in his arms. Unlike Sasuke, they didn't grew up in a safe invorenment with education, protection and leadership.

Exactly, for many years, the ninja villages themselves were plagued with deep-seated corruption, nepotism, treacherous backstabbing, gratuitous violence and the like.

OT: Of course his childhood was miserable.

Not to mention the cross border terrorism they frequently committed, slaughtering more people indiscriminately just so the funds from the countries wouldn't dry out in times of peace. And the leaders would keep supplying the Kages with more money, under the illusion, that old political wounds were being scratched. Morals indeed.

That is pretty much the pinnacle of moral decadence and corruption. It's sheer lunacy to even suggest that these villages run on morals.

Childhood? First of all it is a part of their life and second, I wasn't talking about their childhood alone. Yahiko dying was later. The Village Hidden in the Rain was still a mess and almost everything I've mentioned before goes for their later life phases as well. Please read carefully and reply with valid points instead of telling me I'm going off-topic.

Okay lets talk about Yayiko or Nagoto both of them had goal to make world a better place, both fail but they found successors which would try complete their goals, so kinda they die happily.
Yayiko die really happy, his death was for best friend.
Nagato same, he die for hidden leaf village and found successor.

And talk which one had worst childhood is difficult. Because you had to feel it, you cant just analyze it and say definitely this one had much sadder childhood.

Especially Nagato and Yayiko had good times too. With J-man, with early Akatsuki while they were fighting for good goal.
If you compare numbers of family members they saw deaths Sasuke > Nagato.

Compare situation where Nagato was with y-man and Sasuke was with kakashi team i would say equal.

Over all main different is how they complete their goals.
Sasuke's goals was fails. While Nagato had a good goal and even he fail it he found successor.

Actually when it comes to the love that matters Sasuke wasn't any more loved than Nagato. Nagato eventually got over the death of his family because Yahiko, Konan, and Jiraiya became his new family. Sasuke was still tormented by his loss and when he finally was starting to move on Itachi came and reminded him by beating the crap out of him and casting the same genjutsu on him.

Upon learning from Jiraiya Nagato and his friends became strong and gathered more comrades. They didn't have to struggle as much anymore

Nagato saw yayiko Death <<<<< Sasuke kill Itachi.

What else you have compare ?
Place?

Sasuke was in leaf village where everyone was happy and no one understand how he was feeling.
Nagato was in hiden rain village where everyone was same and he found many companions.
Still Sasuke > Nagato... Sasuke never had person with whom he can share his pain. While Nagato had it.

Nagato got over his family because he chose to make friends, Sasuke was still tormented because he drove away everyone that approached him, including and especially Naruto.

Jiraiya didn't stay that long and left when they were still young. Nobody in Konoha may have lost their family the way Sasuke did but when it comes to loneliness, he wasn't the only one. Kakashi and Naruto for example. Nagato may not have been alone but I think that's not really an arguement. Sure, it helps when you're not the only one but your family still got slaughtered and you still had to survive the tiranny that reigns in your village. Yahiko had a meaningfull dead but his life was far from good. He barely made it to adulthood.
We both made our points and read each others. I guess it's about we personally find the most cruel, because I'm still sticking to what I've said.

★Kakuja made some good points but same can be said for Sasuke. He was shown that he could be loved and accepted. Look how Naruto and Sakura were focussed on bringing him back. Again, Konan/Yahiko/Nagato were accompanied by Jiraiya but only temporarily and left when they were still young. Unlike Sasuke they had to stand on their own feet very quickly. Sasuke choose to leave and search for Itachi, Konan/Yahiko/Nagato were never raised in a safe environment.

Well in part1 Sasuke already said it and he was right. Yes Naruto got problems, living as orphan, everybody tries to isolate him etc yet they especially (Iruka, Hiruzen, Jiraiya) cared about him and showed their love. So It's just a harder than normal life. But about Sasuke; While living his parents, can't reach Itachi, his father just too harsh to him in his way. He was just shadow of his brother but still cool. They loved each other. Then his beloved, genius, prodigy brother slayed entire clan... Well that's something... Another sad part is every girl tried to reach him like a just cool boy but he wasn't. Nobody understands, just Naruto. If i would pick which one is harder, i would go with Sasuke childhood instead of Naruto. I won't even mention about his life goal was Killing Itachi and his whole life is a big lie. After and after. Just sad. It's why Sasuke is better Character than Naruto, changed, shaped too many times. Has too many flaws more realistic and better written.

I love the immature lot here, as if making friends just cleans away everything, when Nagato made friends over a common goal both times. Konan aided him even with what Akatsuki later transformed into. These are friends in truer sense of the word. Someone who sticks by you and your convictions. Naruto and Sakura? "I want to be Hokage" on-loop, endless and forever, and Sakura who simply wanted his penis. Never had any reason to love him, and never gave a damn about his past. Sure, Sasuke should have totally ditched his goals for these runts. Talk about some extraordinarily stupid logic.

Sasuke had no one who actually understood his past. This "friends friends, rainbow trends" mantra from NB is axiomatically retarded and its comparisons with Nagato are even more laughable given how his friends understood Nagato and wanted to support him in his every endeavour.

Funny because the things I pointed out are pretty valid. It's hard to argue with biased fans.

Exactly this. The lack of morals in the ninja villages at first boggles the mind. To be blunt, such institutions don't deserve the loyalty of their citizens.

A bunch of runts over your family? Very valid. You had zero valid points to begin with.

Pretty much. No wonder things escalated into three great wars, and still these villages learned little. These Kage ruled main villages were nothing but maws of corruption. They destabilized small villages and Rain repeatedly, not shying away from killings in Rain as well, when it was practically a refugee village plagued by poverty. Great morals right there.

I'm done talking with biased fanboys. You don't even know to hold a conversation. Very childish response.

"..Sakura only wanted his penis. She could never really love him.." Yes, very valid.

Your friendship mantra sounds like something a fat kid, sucking his daily treats of lollipop, watching gummy bears would say. It's unrealistic, childish, and nonsensical garbage. I am unbiased when it comes to character analysis. Ask anyone.

And anyone could see that it was an acerbic attack on her stupid claim that she 'didn't need a reason to love him'. I see zero validity behind your claims that Nagato's band of loyal friends who literally stuck with him through thick and thin, including the invasion of Konoha is the same as Naruto and Sakura; one a will of fire blind loyalist and the other who went out to do him in, when he had saved her life many times in the past.

Friends indeed.

Agreed. All the villages cared about was one upping their rivals, ans accumulating more and more money. This lead to those brutal wars as you said. I'm sure you've heard of the saying before: "When 2 bulls fight each other, the grass suffers". Plenty of innocent people from the smaller villages, or the "grass" were forced to bear the brunt of the violence engendered by corruption among the 5 great nations. A similar principle occurred with the massacre of the Uchihas too.

I'd suggest you learn to read every post before making assumptions. You talk about character analysis, yet you pick the most bland character as ur god. I'm willing to listen but you stormed in with your mind set, which doesn't make you credible. Enjoy your bandwagon ride and don't try to throw fancy words because it doesn't suit you very well.
