Less about quantity, more regards to quality and versatility.

haku did it first, and with ice release no less. Itach's speed with signs is almost untraceable, minato did the same as sasuke, excpet with a more complex jutsu. And hiruzen knows the signs of probably over 1000 jutsu. So yeah, i put sasuke last, considering he used to use chidori without signs anyway.

- your point about obito is true, he just wouldn't die. reason i didn't include him was because he couldn't handle 2 rinnegan, unlike nagato. so many it's just obitos endurance and will that is strong, rather than his chakra.

rasenshuriken never used hand signs. rasengan was designed to be used without signs in the first place.

Yeah I had a hard time deciding if I wanted to put Kabuto in the ninjutsu category. I decided against it mainly because most of the jutsu he displayed in DSM came from the ninja's stored in his belly. But I have no qualms about him being in the top 5 if you think otherwise. I did forget about edo tensei.
