Regardless of if he was good or evil she would have had his back. Sakura wanting to bring Sasuke to the light still seemed kind of selfish, like she was only doing it so that he could be with her. I support the couple though

You misunderstood, Sakura gave up on the romantic aspect of the relationship long ago, she just wanted him to be happy, and to let him know that he wasn't alone ,She hated seeing him going down a destructive path. Most of the things Sakura did to Sasuke was completely selfless. It only seems romantic because Sasuke sort of showed interest.

It was explained before and after he genjutsu'd her, and when team 7 was discussing a strategy, Even when she tried to kill him it was to spare him, but she coudln't bring herself to do it.
