What I dont understand is how people wants Sasuke to use godly powers against a kid. Also, he obviously took easy on him and still, he roflstomped him.

And why would Naruto use his godly powers around his own village if he knows that the world is peaceful and there is no threats around.

Nobody said he had to kill him. It just doesn't make sense how he was so uninterested in a kid that has the Sharingan - something that no other person except Sasuke (and/or Sarada) should have - and refused to apprehend him without hurting him, which he could of easily done with a basic genjutsu or simply a knockout.

And why would Naruto use his godly powers around his own village if he knows that the world is peaceful and there is no threats around.

There have been a lot of instances in the early manga where typically Jounins said something of the likes: ''I could sense you were there'' and none of them had godly powers. Hell, even Part 1 Sasuke was amazed Gaara could sneak up on him. Naruto is a Kage, so he should have that basic sensing that is fitted for any respectable Shinobi.
