I don't even remember base Naruto having any sensing feats. If you're talking about the regular sensing that any Jounin-level and above ninja can do, then it's probably just Kishi forgetting it for plot convenience.

Sasuke was amazed enough to let him go. Why would he chase him, when he saw a dude with 2 Sharingan?

Also, Naruto wasn't in SM or BM, or he will let them follow on purpose. Who cares? He can protect them anyway.

Ya I'm talking about the jounin level sensing, and a bit of his other forms of sensing because he's much more developed now and I would think he wouldn't need sage mode.

Did you consider 2 possibilities:

1. Sasuke was not trying to kill the Uchiha kid (as he actually showed interest in him). Therefore Sasuke felt no need to stop him from getting away.
2. Naruto was not in sage mode, kcm, BM, or RSM nor did he feel the need to sense if someone was spying on him

They were not nerfed. There was just no need for them to use a lot of power.

All sasuke had to do was place him in a genjutsu,ik he was shocked but he shouldn't of been just frozen. Lol still though all ninja can sends somewhat, and I'm just saying haha. Naruto should be beast enough to know if he's being followed.

Well i think Nerfs make no sense sometimes for example:
Naruto is a shinobi who can read minds...he read the mind of Hinata...remember when he saved her?before even Madara appeared?
Another point :Sarada fooled Naruto LOL.
Yea Naruto should've been able to notice Sarada in the last chapter!
Madara was able to read minds too,why didn't he read Naruto's and Sasuke's mind?he was surprised and said "How did they attain such powers?" after he absorbed the Shinjuu...
Same with Hashirama and Sasuke,why so much plot Nerfs? the mind read shouldn't have existed at all.
