[Discussion] Logia's awakening. (Question/discussion)

I believe we've had this "awakening" way before impel down, right at banaro island when ace used Enkai, where he bassically turned half the island into hell. So here:
Awakening enables a devil fruit user to bring out his devil's abity, influencing their environment (that's what we saw of a paramecia awakening, perhaps that of impel down is that of zoan) so, could logia awakening be similar to paramecia's? If yes, was enkai ace's? Or have we seen nothing of both logia and zoan?

We've seen Zoan awakening for sure at Impel down, I've read theories about punk hazard's climate being as a result of Akainu and Aokiji's awakening.

Well Doffy made a similar thing today even Luffy said how Doffy basically isn't paramecia anymore.

I don't think he said that, neither was he implying anything like that. Logia users have the ability to turn their bodies into natural elements or forces of nature (most of which tends to give them a certain level of of intangibility)
I think what luffy was referring to was doffys ability I.e off white) I'm sure we would have a better understanding of it in due time.

I don't think we've "seen" a logia awakening just yet. Ace's attack felt more like a typical strong attack, there really wasn't anything too out of the ordinary about it.

Yah he used a simili "like" not a metaphor, and he was refering to ability to doffy's ability to generate string from the envirionment, which is an abilty preety much of logias.
I rest my case.

I haven't heard anyone say it yet (which is shocking) but it seems to me that's exactly what the deal was with Trebol. He was a Paramecia but he avoided Usopps attack like a Logia probably because he's also awakened.

Dai Enkai Entei was prob just a strong attack but Akainu and Kuzan changing the weather of PH could be it, or when it stopped snowing on Drum Island when Ace Arrived

It could be pretty strong with the right DF - if Caesar Clown were to do it, he could turn any physical object into poisonous gas. He probably hasn't, though, or else he would be much stronger.

The way I see it, only Doflamingo, Crocodile, and maybe the Admirals have awakened their Devil Fruits, at least from what we've seen. Whitebeard probably has, too, given that he's Whitebeard, but we haven't seen him do anything like what Doflamingo's doing.

I was thinking what if WB's quaking of things like the air and the sea was awakening. probably not but I thought it was weird than sengoku was surprised that WB could quake the sea too.

OT: I dont think ace was awakened, by i was thinking that aokiji and akainu probably were because of there island changing fight and that they got hit with haki attacks and were still able retain their logia properties (that could be due to a haki strength difference too)

A brief theory I had in mind was that when certain Paramecia's are awakened, the fruit becomes a Logia. Because the fruit was Awakened, when the user dies, the fruit respawns Awakened, as a Logia. But, I scrapped that. I'd like if each type had their own form of Awakening.
