Zoro going and others going after BC clearly hints that the fight is far from being over. Besides , the ending of this chapter is too lame to be the end of a main arc opponent.

This is first time a bad guy has done something with his devil fruit tht attacks entire town and why would it still be up if it's caster is unconscious Doffy is still awake ... Yes it was hard hit but for one we have no idea how much damage luffy is actually doing tbh this is not the first time we have seen ppl do moves against someone that makes them fly back really far away prime example is Marco and kizaru (not to tht extent kizaru received no damage I'm pretty sure Doffy is reciwving damage especially with his internal injuries just unsure of how much) Marco pushed back kizaru considerable distance and kizaru gets back up its similar to Doffy also oda is showing us how Doffy is analysing luffy s attacks something Ive been saying since him and law were fighting him together why would he have Doffy do tht just to have him defeated in one punch??? Why would he show us unlocking the true powers of their devil fruits to just have Doffy be defeated before he can actually use it....that makes no sense... At all but everyone is entittled to own opinion

Ending caption says Luffy delivered a decisive fatal blow, that means its over.

And the battle between the admirals for head admiral left a island half frozen and half on fire, meaning that Devil fruit powers can have long term effects even after they leave the island or are knocked out.

So my theory is probably very likely that the Bird cage is fixed so that knocking out Doflamingo won't stop it.

It's been hinted on more than one occasion that Luffy's is going to put an end to BC as well as Joker at the same time. No devils fruit power is automatic. Joker or any fruit user for that matter has to control his attacks for them to be effective so if Joker gets defeated then it'll make BC disappear or stop. Do you think Pica's statue can fight on it's own even if Pica gets KO'ed? No. Same goes for any fruit user which includes Joker. Zoro even said if the bird cage is still around then it means that the one who's responsible for it is still undefeated indicating that defeating Joker will stop BC.

Once again the last attack was too lame to be the final blow. There are no OMG faces , no tears, no surprising faces, no happy movements,no fanboying movements and no praises from people around Luffy which hints that the battle is far from being over. If anything Zoro movements against Pica are more epic than ending of today's chapter. Do you seriously think Oda would end Luffy's battle without greatly outshining Zoro's battle? Not a chance in hell.

Also the hero only beats the game changing move of the bad guy in the final chapter of the fight, the fact that the awakening ability was introduced in this chapter and beaten by Luffy shows that its the last chapter of the fight because if it wasn't Luffy wouldn't have overpowered it, because that would take away the suspense of the main villain having it.

If there was going to be another chapter of fighting, the chapter would have ended with Doflamingo smirking and saying that he is just getting started or some other bad guy speech and creating more thread from buildings or introducing another awakening ability, or something along those lines.

Doflamingo getting sent flying into a mountain after introducing this overpowered attack means that the fight is over, and this chapter had every aspect of the ending of a Shounen battle.

You're talking about the after effects of an attack mate. Even if the birdcage is destroyed or stopped then damage done by it and the strings used to create the cage will stay there just like how lower part of Pica's statue didn't collapse even when Pica was defeated.. It's the same with Akainu and Aokiji. Akainu can create dog like structure with his power and make it go after his enemy but can it be done automatically without his involvement? Going by your Akainu and Aokiji logic the bird cage won't disappear even after the defeat of Joker but it'll lose it;'s meaning and becomes nothing but strings with no mobility. Once again no devils fruit power in manga was hinted to be able automatically attack enemies without any involvement from the user.

Trust me , the fight is far from over.When Luffy defeats Joker there will be cheerful movements, lots of sentiment, crying faces,exciting faces,happy faces, fanboy movements and WTF? faces from people that have no idea about the situation. Bartho will most likely die from heartattack.

And who says that Luffy won't help stop the bird cage?

Just look at Fish Man island, he was smashing that ship after the battle with the bad guy, this time he just needs some help from the other Straw Hats, or at least for them to slow the bird cage down until he can destroy it.

And as for no devil fruit power showing the ability to work automatically, well before this chapter's spoilers would you have believed that a character could give a solid object their devil fruits properties as well.

The answer is no, because it hadn't been introduced yet, how do you know that Doflamingo won't be the one to introduce the concept of a devil fruit working automatically.

That's why its called a twist, the thing everyone is expecting to happen doesn't and it turns out that defeating Doflamingo doesn't solve the problem.

Even in the Ennies Lobby Arc, Luffy was supposed to be the one that chased down Robin, but instead he simply fought Rob Lucci.

And as for Doflamingo not having done anything with is awakening, have you even read the chapter, he tried to spear Luffy multiple times with his awakening and blocked several of his attacks, they fought like that for twenty minutes.

Law is one of the good guys, a good guy using their best move and failing and then coming back is pretty standard in Shounen, not the bad guys.

Of course people will be cheering, when the bird cage is stopped.

Actually if you check the last few pics of the chapter, you will see people cheering.

The fight is over imo, what better could Doffy show other than his awakening? The problem I see after this chapter is simply birdcage not stopping even if Doffys defeated.

I can see G4s time limit getting Luffy exhausted and open for Burgess to attack, cueing Sabo.

Of course parasite is an idea but Luffy hit him right in his wound and sent his ass flying from the central district back to the royal plateau. The wound most definitely should have opened after that.

Well I think Doffys last resort is turning the royal plateau into a big string monster of some sort which Luffy will defeat after G4 has ran out. Its like the biggest thing in DR and he conveniently is smashed into it.

I actually wouldn't mind that, and it would still fit in with the caption as Luffy has delivered a finishing blow to Doflamingo and is instead fighting a giant puppet.

Yeah his DF will basically be fighting for him. And people can't say he didn't go all out and he will get some hits in but in the end defeated by g2/g3.
