[Spoilers] Limits of Haki

In the new chapter, law said, that luffy is using too much of his haki.
So does this means haki has a limit too , like the old g3 of luffy ?
it would be nice , because it would not make haki master with df too op, but at the same time disappointing for non df haki masters.

What kidn of limit will it be? A physical os psychological or any other kind ?

Probably a physical limit, they can only use so much before they need time to recover.

Maybe the level of Haki he's using is really intense and taking up a lot of energy.

Haki is still a skill like any other and thus subjugated to the same rules and limitations. Whether the limit is physical or psychological doesn't really matter and in the end it's probably both. Someone who still has the physical strength to run, might stop running because he doesn't want anymore and someone who still wants to run, might not have the physical strength left to do it.

Haki is willpower physically manifested. So by its very nature it's something rooted into your mind that becomes something that can be physically used. So it requires both to be mentally and physically strong as otherwise you would not be able to use it and both have by default their limits.

In the end it really isn't any different than having speed, strength, stamina etc.

It's strange though. How can Law see that Luffy is using it to much? It should be dependent from person to person and Law can't possibly judge his limits either way. Also even if he was overusing it , it's not like he has a choice. It's do or die at this point. Was a bit of a weird statement from Law tbh

Haki has a color(Mihawk's statement proved that). Luffy is covered in black haki currently

I didn't ask how Law could see if he was using haki but how he can see that he using to much..

Probably through CoO. Its been shown that a character can sense when someone else has strong Haki. What Luffy is doing is simply releasing his Haki and creating armor with it. I think you can sense whether someone is using weak or strong Haki.

No need to. Like i've said, Luffy is covered in haki, not that different from Full Body Haki, and if see a guy who is constantly fighting in full body haki modo, it's easy to see he is using too much haki in his fighting style

Nice, that so much persons replied.

First of all i forgot haki is willpower. but now the question is what will happen if you push that to a limit. Will you get unconsciousness or will your body be damaged, because the willpower is "released" by the body if you use armament haki?

and we seen vergo fighting will the strongest full body armament haki on world, as claimed by a lot of characters, really long wiht no breaks or only little breaks which dont need attention

Haki of armament, is something I think that drains some of your power. You cannot just create a barrier out of nothing.
That being said, I think the Kenbunshoku Haki also has a limit of distance, and the number of people.

These two being skills are restrain-able.
But I think Haoshoku Haki is something that once controlled is quite limitless. And that is a frightening possibility depending on how it is developed in the series and would also explain the importance it has been given in the series.

Of course they have, from person to person using it. But Luffy, which all be it in his rights has a very strong will and has come far in jst 2 years learning conquerers, had a fair bit of distance and took out 50k fodder... So in my opinion, numbers doesn't really matter, and I don't think distance does either really... I think it's just the strength that one can project it at. For exmaple, Luffy might be able to take out fodder, but I want to see him up against some captain or higher class like he was at MF and took those out unknowingly... Also some NW pirates too!

think roger did the same to become a haki beast
what if the animals on the island can use haki
luffy like sanji and zoro was being tested all the time only with haki
so because of this luffy has already shown that he could use haki in a way don was not expecting
also think because of this he will have a large haki tank
