Subterrenean Voyage puts Kisame exactly where Kitsuchi wants him, in his territory meaning he can move the earth up exposing Kisame like

where he's greeted by explosives from above. Or use the volcano thing he did to move all those zetsus above ground.
Neither Deidara nor Kitsuchi are sensors, so how are they finding where Kisame and Danzo are underground again? Under the situation, the earth sandwich, they could be skeptical of the two dying. But to their knowledge, they are squished or unaware of where they truly are, especially with manga knowledge. Kisame needs to only stay still with subterranean voyage and he'll be safe, Danzo again can be piggy backed along the way.
Using Doton to expose Kisame, or to throw him in the air? As the second jutsu used is an answer, but just lifting the ground around Kisame doesn't do anything, not when the ground is turned to liquid when around Kisame, and he can just move further in literally any direction.
Furthermore, knowing of Deidara, if they are somehow thrusted into the air,

to blow back any of Deidara's bombs. It's far from a fatality at that move, in the unlikely event that they're thrusted up.
Agreed
Kitsuchi and Deidara make a good air/ground assault duo. Deidara bombs from the skies while Kitsuchi shifts the ground below their feet to make avoiding the bombs tricky.
True, but if Kitsuchi remains on the ground, he's going to die. Kisame/Samehada are sensors and Danzo can see chakra, with subteranean voyage, reaching him when he's hidden in doton barriers isn't a challenge. And in close range, Kitsuchi gets murked by either. Deidara could offer his partner some support, but again, Danzo can always redirect smaller projectiles and once underground, they cannot locate Kisame but he can find them. Sure, if Kitsuchi were to use a doton immediately where Kisame is, he'd get him. But that'd also hint at the man having a line of sight with them. A barrier like what he used against the Gedo isn't holding Kisame back, rushing at it and then using SV to slip through it gets him to Kitsuchi.
Doton bunshin only prolongs the fight.

If Danzo summons Baku, Kitsuchi can redirect its suction the same way he redirected the Juubi's Bijuu Dama, or sink it into the ground with mobile core. Then Deidara bombs it.
True, I am not sure if suiton of a larger scale will come into play when Kitsuchi is alive/on the ground. But luckily, he won't be either for too long in the fight.
Fair enough, but using C4 while Kitsuchi is on the ground and undoubtly near team 2 (No reason to believe team 2 wouldn't move to close the gap/press the offensive,) Kitsuchi is suspeible to it as well, if he shuts himself off entirely from the jutsu, he risks losing visability and allowing Baku to work his magic. But, again, fusing or Danzo's fuuton is easily enough. Baku is just for the extra mile.
Great Shark Bullet can be blocked by a good old Doton wall.
Great Shark bullet is a counter to C4 in the worst of times. A Doton wall both buys the team extra time/blocks a chunk of C4 off, which would honestly be located where they believe they need it the most. Seeing as GSB would be used to keep them alive if all else fails, the doton wall gives them the same security that a GSB would. Not that it matters, GSB eats it and tears through it.
But assuming C4 makes it around a Doton Wall, Danzo's fuuton now just has to cover less sides/he doesn't need to use it as much. So Doton wall works, sure. Not effectively, it can help team 2, too.
Edit: HOld your horses, Stephane. I'll quote you in a second. So I don't double post, Stephane here's yours
Only the earth around(in contact with Kisame's body) is transformed into liquid. The surrounding area is still rock solid. If Kitsuchi were to use the surrounding area for his rock related earth sandwich technique, it would scatter the nearby transformed earth(liquid) and crush Kisame regardless
Yes, around his body. Do you recall when the jutsu was showcased? When he was tearing through the ground, using this jutsu, to attack Team Gai. Meaning he was constantly moving. The earth around him, always new and to be subjugated to his jutsu quickly nigh instantly, turned to liquid. So why would NEW earth be anything different then Kisame moving THROUGH it? Both situations, earth comes near Kisame, is turned into liquid, he is safe.
Do you see the size of that cloud? Danzo will need a gigantic fuuton to completely blow it away, something he never showed the ability to do and like stated, the cutting ability of his fuuton may trigger the explosion instead
He's used a Susano'o sized Fuuton, and the jutsu is carried by the wind. One or two times, and the technique will be turned around. If the wind carries it back, well the nano-bombs are likely to be lower to the ground. Closer to falling, where they can be washed away by a GSB.
Outside of the body, they aren't deadly. T

, despite as you say, the massive sized cloud being all around them. So premature explosions from them isn't a threat, as long as they aren't near/in the body. But Izanagi and Samehada, as a last resort if he's not fused, negates the effects and Deidara wastes a lot of clay.
I don't remember Baku repelling things. He can only draw things in and if he does draw the C4 in, he dies?
Well Deidara can detonate the bomb before it even makes contact with fused Kisame...
Look at the scan I posted, the trunk expels air too. Meaning that, it can draw some in, then blow it back out too. With it being a trunk, Baku can just face in a different direction and point the trunk at the on-going cloud. With the guidance of Danzo, of course.
Only GSB seems to be a viable counter, but can he block the 2 rising walls coming from different directions? Not to mention, Deidara is still there with his areal destructive attacks
Doton walls are absorbed and pushed through, and they also block off the LOS for the C4. Really, a doton wall blocks the C4 from coming through, especially if it's going to try and stop GSB which is going to be aimed in the direction of the C4.
