What was the biggest mistake that a hokage has ever made?

Tobirama for running his mouth about the Uchiha after Madara and Hashirama built Konoha. Everyone was happy then that bozo started flapping his gums, messing things up. Hashirama should've smacked him and showed him who's boss.

But...why are you so rustled? I was being serious in my post and was not taking shots at Madara. If Tobirama had killed him when he was on the ground then the 4th shinobi war probably would not have happened at all.

Danzo never pushed Tsunade around. No other hokage aside from Hashirama and Naruto would have been able to stop Pain..

nobody but kurama knew that the jinchuriki could have been saved by resealing him back into her, but since kurama hated them there was no way he would tell them that

The nine tails would have revived after Kushina died and just caused destruction again. They needed a new Jinchuuriki. He didn't die because he couldn't live without Kushina :|, that was just once excuse.

Tsunade was orginally suppose to fight Pain, but Kishi's editors or whoever made him drop it. BEcause she was going to land a punch and it wouldve killed the most important pain.


Because letting the tailed beast wreck havoc on the village was a better plan.

I just think that definitely tobirama could have not treated the uchiha so badly. but no other madara showed up. he gave the uchiha power and didn't want the village to go into a panic. He did do wrong but orochimaru and danzo are the ones that caused the war. Orochimaru with kabuto and danzo with Nagato who captured the tailed beasts for madara. There's no closer connection to any hokage besides the 3rd. the third accomplished a lot but those were the mistakes that caused all of this.

Tsunade in a way she did protect the village from the pain attack I mean she saved everyone even though the village was wrecked but what's a village without the people
Kakashi well he didn't really do anything but I guess its cos there was no major threat apart from toneri but that ***** got beat with one punch
