Say a violent criminal is about to end your life, and you have no defense whatsoever. No ifs or buts, let's just say you are defenseless.
However, you suddenly have a magical power to stop the criminal and you are somehow suddenly made completely aware of the fact.
The power paralyzes the attacker, at the cost of him/her suffering hundreds of years of intense torture in their own mind while only 1 second passes in ours, just like Tsukuyomi. Unlike Tsukuyomi, you can't control/hold back torture. It just happens to the attacker instantly the moment you decide to use it.
However, you get to survive, using this only possible defense.
Is this justified?
Some argue that torture is never justified?
But I just came up with a hypotheical that might be. Sure it's unrealistic, but makes for good argument nonetheless.
