Karin is just like Ino, but her healing is much more proficient and she is a sensory type. Compared to Jugo and Suigetsu, Karin was the most useful and the one who protected and heal Sasuke the most, and like CAG said, switch Karin with Sakura in the Kage summit and Sasuke would have died.

War arc Sakura with her seal > Karin's healing. Adding the fact sakura is a far better fighter, Monster strength, Being able to heal through her summon (meaning she doesn't even need to be close to sasuke to heal him).

War arc sakura would of been more useful to sasuke's Summit fight than karin in fighting/healing terms.

There really isn't any evidence that can prove that Karin's healing more competent (proficient) and her healing related skills (proficiency) aren't above Sakura's.

Hmmm, Katsuyu can detect there chakra and send Sakura a visual on the person, where she can see weapons, and what not, And Sakura being a medic would be able to use that visual to determine their weaknesses, and if they are vulnerable in anyway. Karin Sensory powers are pretty bad ass, but against Sakura intellegent and Katsuyu sensory. Sakura would be the better fit,

katsuyu clearly stated she noticed/sensed the kyuubi's chakra inside everyone while she was healing, Yet sakura is no indiation what so ever and she even stated herself she thought it was gone

One of the best sensor skills my ass if she cannot even sense chakra that her summon clearly could.

Even though Sasuke did deduce this on his own as well, Karin was able to figure out Izanagi, and overall her sensory ability allowed Sasuke to get to Danzo as quickly as possible (even though she also was not enough to get him through the Summit alone and Tobi's interference was what really set up their fight). There is also the convenience of the bite-healing/chakra transfer over Sakura's healing (and she was not confirmed to have katsuyu at the time either iirc, which further dampens her utility).

Ultimately, Karin's healing is more convenient/versatile (and she has more chakra), and her sensory abilities are ridiculously good (this is what really separates her from Sakura and it cannot be emphasized enough).

Katsuyu blitzed everyone in the leaf at a moments notice, that summoning time is really invalid.
Sakura couldn't but Katsuyu could, and as I said before, it only work when the byakugou users wants it too.
Katsuyu can just tell her.

And Karin was only useless after Sasuke completed killing Danzo. Sakura during that time would not have even gotten him that far.

The topic at hand is based around "Support" to a team.

Sakura transferring chakra to Obito in order to retrieve helpless Sasuke form a desert wasteland is the epitome of being a support ninja.

It's close...they can both heal,both have destructive power...but karin has sensing so i say karin...

Sakura has katsuyu so she can heal a large group so a betrer battlefield support would be sakura

Just for one shinobi however karin would be better
