Why the war arc failed.

Im going to keep this extremely short. Some people like it some people hate it. Just a few points.

> Juubi hype off being the strongest and nearly unbeatable.. But yet he was comfortably controlled and absorbed by 2 uchiha's.


> Uchiha Madara in Juubi mode didn't even Touch Naruto or Sasuke and got 1 shotted and betrayed by black Zetsu while thinking Black zetsu was his true will.


> Kaguya was the worst villain I've seen in a while with no backstory, no talking, and a shitty swapping ability as her only combat jutsu.


> Obito never dying and Kakashi's bullshit Double MS PS, Kamui shuriken shit power up to make him relevant to the story once again. SHIT.


Lets talk about these points and let me hear your opinion on said topic.

IMO Madara should've been the final villain in juubi mode at full power, instead of Kishimoto doing Madara dirty like that.

Kishi should've taken hints from Oda when it comes to making a war arc epic.

They shouldn't hype up the juubi to be something that big when it was basically a pet all the time.


And I kinda agree Kaguya could've been great if she had 30+ chapters and she was foreshadowed earlier in the manga.

1 - How can a being with no intelligence/will do anything ? Sure power is good, but you need brains to actually use it. This is where Obito and Madara come in.

2 - Madara did put up a good fight cause neither Naruto and Sasuke were able to stop him from casting Mugen Tsukuyomi, his final goal. Madara actually did win in that respect. Madara getting stabbed is actually best said by Black Zetsu : He was too proud and arrogant to realize that he was a puppet.

3 - Kaguya was the Ultimate Evil - You wouldn't expect a Demon to give speeches now would you ? :sdo: It was actually a nice change if you ask me. Her techniques were all awesome and the Dimension shifting was like a jackpot imo.

4 - Obito never dying shows his sheer will power. Kakashi's power up can be explained by taking Kamui and soul transfer in consideration (It requires explanation though). The Team Four teamwork was done very nicely also.

My biggest flaws with the War-Arc were Kaguya being a crap Villain, Madara getting hyped up then one-shotted by Black Zetsu and Kakashi getting his BS power up and spamming Kamui 24/7 throughout the course of the entire Arc.

I don't think the War-Arc was bad in fact I think it was a very good Arc it just has some flaws and plot holes you can't ignore.

I definitely agree. The war arc in general was very rocky, but the moment BZ backstabbed Madara and gave him a free gender change, the manga became comatose for a while. It brought about the advent of Kaguya, who is one of the most insipid characters I have seen in any manga. There was also a lot of random inconsistencies in that fight, like Kakashi and him getting PS like you said. Another problem was that Madara as the Juubi Jin was like a rinse and repeat of Obito's time, so it didn't feel as epic as it should have. It was almost like Madara was just there to extend an already finished war.
