[Discussion] Monkey D. Luffy : Dragon or Roger?

As we know luffy is becoming the pirate king, and once he does he will end up surpassing Roger somehow. HOWEVER, who do you think he will surpass first in power. Dragon or Roger?

Dragon = luffy's dad and probably the current strongest

Roger = the guy who luffy wants to be like


Who will he surpass first? And who in your opinion will turn out to be the stronger one in power (both haven't shown much, except Dragon's wind attack once)?

Imo in a fight between the real top OP characters ie Roger, Dragon, WB, Garp, ... Any matchup could go either way so if Luffy surpasses one he will surpass the other but that said I don't think Luffy will ever really surpass them (at least not in power), he'll simply reach that same level

To be fair, the WG probably doesn't know the full extent of Dragon's power for obvious reasons.

Not true Dragon won't drop down holding his chest vs Akainu. WB was strong but also restricted. There is no restriction on how bad Dragon could whoop someone
