Luffy would lose to Ace with just G2 or G3, but G4 beats Ace, but he wouldn't be able to oneshot Ace until he actually reaches the top tier

Personally I see it as a tie or a victory either way

Ace is heavily underestimated by lots of people, and at the same time Sanji is even worse off than Ace, simply because he's not been in the Manga since chapter 731

Ace is underestimated for losing to Akakinu when he's a top tier and Ace was a obvious disadvantage and then Akakinu didn't even knock him out, he was still able to jump in the way to save Luffy. Sanji is my favourite SH he's honestly underestimated because he's been put in scenarios where he's been bound to lose.

I disagree, I think the gap is exactly the same as ever, simply because Diable Jambe is white flames and White fire can f*ck Zoro's swords up pretty good

I think Luffy's pulled away because of G4, but Zoro and Sanji are very much rivals

He can dodge all of Ace's attacks with his G2 or G4 speed. Luffy can one shot Ace if he uses his strongest attacks, like Lion Bazooka.

I'd add that people often forget he was also in a terrible state after losing to Blackbeard, getting tortured in ID, and handcuffed by seastones, not to mention having an ability disadvantage against Akainu. People also forget he blocked Aokiji's attack once despite all this, could match Jinbei(who is a monster trio level fighter) as a rookie pirate and thus was most probably much stronger after 2years
