Boruto awakes byakugan?

So they say Boruto is going to be awakening the Hyuga genes while trying to save Sarada from Mr.Oro...

I personally think it'll be nice to see what the byakugan looks like in a mutated form... I hope his eyes actually turn white kind of like the sharingan turns red because it would be freaking weird if his pupil just disappeared O____O

It's most likely fake. You are either born with the Byakugan or you don't have it, and as Kishi has confirmed, he "forgot" to give either Boruto or Himawari the Byakugan. So, unless Kishi retcons this to where the Byakugan is now an awakened trait, then it isn't happening.

That would be a little too convenient, wouldn't you think? Kishi forgets to draw the characters with the dojutsu, and then suddenly creates a hybrid version of the technique to fix his mistake. The only other form of the eye is the Tenseigan, which Bolt can't unlock anyway.
