So APPARENTLY Sasuke can solo glance the 9 bijuu BUT somehow when fighting the blonde Uchiha scrub, he manages to escape.

Sasuke that was able to keep up with Juubi Jin Madara in speed and has instant teleportation was able to get outpaced. Very nice!

Or maybe Orochimaru has an army of Sharingan users with Hashi DNA. Keep in mind that Orohimaru has access to Hashirama's cells as well as Obito's supply of Sharingan eyes. Combine that with his overall knowledge of...just about everything, and he could be a big thread. I agree that Naruto and Sasuke should both still be able to beat him pretty easily though. Also, maybe it should be noted that Orochimaru does not really die. So maybe Sasuke was trying to make sure that there would be no way for Orochimaru to come back...idk.

You're right. I still think he should win that fight pretty easily, but it could explain why he has been gone for so long (trying to get rid of all the Sharingan eyes and making sure Orochimaru could never come back). There will be more to it than what we are assuming though; there has to be. I doubt that Kishi would make Naruto/Sasuke look that weak against an unworthy foe.
