Potential Solution to the Senju and Uchiha problem

The uchiha and senju clans came together to create peace and after time other clans joined creating Konoha, they solidified this union with a peace treaty but why did it stop there? What did the old medieval houses we look back on in history do to solidify their union? Marriage.

Since they were the respective leaders of their clans Madara and Hashirama should have married into each other's clans, this would have made sure that both clans were treated fairly and most importantly, both clans would have POWER in the village because this would FORCE tobirama to look out for the uchiha's best interest because if you screw over the other clan you're directly screwing over your family and you're future descendants. Tobirama would never do anything that would potentially disenfranchise Hashirama's descendants, basically his nieces and nephews.

By the time we got to Naruto's time the uchiha and senju clans would be so intermingled that there would be no internal conflicts, at least not on a scale that would threaten the village, also this would have made konoha even stronger, all those kids would have the perks of being both senju and uchiha.

I'm watching season 5 of game of thrones and something similar to this is happening right now.

I already addressed this, by the time Naruto ansd Sasuke's generation came the clans would be super intermingled there would be no uchiha vs senju conflict because they would basically be the same clan now.

I just used game of thrones as an example, but i'm talking about real life situations for example, look up the house of habsburg they married off tons of people in their family and secured their future because of it.
