What make Sasuke the most talked about character?

Because he is not a linear character like Naruto. Linear character are boring as fuvk! Hate characters who want to be a hero and shit to get other people's attention.

Did you forget about Naruto's struggle with "Dark Naruto" and how he rejected people's attention because of how they treated him in the past? Naruto isn't as linear as you wish. His whole desire for attention thing ended after losing Sasuke and Jiraiya and him realizing that there were things more important than wanting to be acknowledged. He achieved all that after defeating Pain but there was a lot more responsibility he needed to do.

Wouldn't eradicating "dark Naruto" mean his character becomes even more linear? I wouldn't say his character is linear in the first place but Naruto is basically like a moral compass while Sasuke just follows his heart.

Sasuke was truly nerfed too. If he was truly hungry for power, he would've learned a lot of forbidden jutsu and sage mode during those 3 years to beat itachi. His character development was great but truly nerfed at the same time.

Main characters are always the most talked about. Kishimoto didn't bother elaborating much outside of Team 7. However, when a character does something that is worth a face palm rather than praise-worthy, they get mentioned more. People love to complain since it usually boosts their self-esteem on the internet.

That's why we have mainly negative threads pertaining to Sasuke and Sakura as a constant thing on nearly every forum site. With Naruto and Kakashi still being mentioned alot but less so than the former two.

That, and people like to troll with characters. Uchiha are the perfect characters for that.
