What are your expectations for the Boruto Movie?

Kishimoto stated that this movie is his "Pinnacle of all creations".

Basically he said this word for word

"Message from Kishimoto:

"This Boruto movie features all new characters, starting everything from zero. It means, it still exists only in my head, who is the original creator. For the first time in this 11th Naruto movie, I wrote the screenplay all by myself, provided the ideas for character designs, refined them till I was satisfied, then discussed more with the staff seeking perfection. After the serialization finished, I have spent all of my
time used to spend for manga to this movie. Here is the Naruto movie that I have really wanted to make.
One last word..., now I can't draw anything more than this...."

What are your expectations? I'll write a poll between the numbers 1 through five, five being the highest of course. I'll make a thread after we all see the movie and I'll compare the results to this thread later.

My expectation are low , Naruto for a while have been gone down to the drain and somewhere along the road Kishi lost himself here, even at this point Studio Pierrot knows what they're doing. In Last Movie, it was only decent because SP handled the Job, but half of this movie was wack cause some are written by Kishimoto and the whole chief production when he asked his staff to redo the script until he's satisfied, and honestly the romance was poorly done, the fact that both Naruto and Hinata have been degraded back to their usual self after all this buldup was such a waste.

I don't know what to expect anymore so I'm gonna go with the middle.

Let's be honest kishi isn't that great of a writer so him doing everything by himself doesn't fill me with confidence, but ill reserve judgement until i see it. By Naruto standards it will probably be good, but by animated movie standards it will probably be average or below average.

The romance aspect wasn't Kishimoto, so that would be on the romance writers they hired to make the movie. I'm sure it would be much worse if Kishi had no input and didn't make them rewrite it. Kishimoto didn't lose his edge, you just can't appreciate his work, and idk why.

The funny thing is,that in Naruto,that never happened.What villian did Naruto fight,lose to,then train to beat,then defeat?

He's already said he's not good with romance,so what makes you think he was fully involved with a movie about romance? He's giving it his all for the Boruto movie,not The Last.Matter of fact,The Last was being created while he was making the Naruto manga weekly,but the Boruto Movie was made while he wasn't working on the Naruto manga.

Clearly this movie had more of his priority.

This movie is about bolt entering the chunin exam, Right? Hopefully this brings some nostalgia feels.

He didn't write it though, he can't control what they wrote he just gave advice, told them to try again, and make minor edits. For this one he's like "**** letting someone else touch my story I'm soloing this one, *****!"
