There must be a perfect story of naruto out there, but since Kishi is not allowed 100% to write it all down, so we get some shitty mix story and irrevelant/uninterest character. I bet if he is as rich as Harry potter writer, we will get much deeper story than some irrevelant pairing sh!t.

It's true Naruto and Sasuke are gods among men now and they have taken great responsibility because of it. Naruto is Hokage not Shikimaru. But there could still be threats, the new generation could surpass the old. We still don't know what alien race Kaguya was from so they could attack earth.

Yeah we don't but the new Gen surpassing the previous is a bit ridiculous don't you think? They would need insane power ups to do that. Also, Kishi once told that Sasuke travelled around the world to learn more about Kaguya revival but he doen't want to continue/follow this storyline, since it would expand the manga... The new gen is only going to have a new movie and mini series. Any new threat now would be a bit pointless like Toneri who was used for NaruHina and random guys... I belive most of us don't have high hopes...
The BS started with Natuto saving Guy. Might Guy unlocked the power of Gods(last gate) with the ultimate consequence waiting for him in the end.

The Last was mostly written by some romance writers. Kishi is soloing the Boruto movie. I don't think any mangaka has soloed a script before. I have high hopes. Also, I'm sure Pierriot will continue the story after, and lately they have made some great fillers like Kakshi Anbu. Will at least tide us over until Kishimoto regains interest and continues the story. Kishimoto always impresses me, people who aren't always say what they wish happened but that's always worse than what happened the reality is Kishi knows best.

It wasn't just Gai surviving the 8th gate either. For me it was the fact that most of the ninja world laws of nature/charka that Kishimoto spent so much time and detail into creating throughout the series kind of went right out the window once the Rikudo power surfaced.
Your example with Gai is one:
Madara using Susanoo with no eyes. (say what you will but every explanation by fans given is not proof but speculation)
Naruto being the child of prophecy then later Sasuke being Indra transmigant for plot's sake.
The disappointing Juubi (who seemed more like a wild pokemon then an omnipotent being spawn from the original source of chakra)
Madara being Black Zetsu'd then turned into the biggest mistake Kishi could ever create.
That giant black sword that was said to have created the world gets shattered by the power of friendship with no repercussions to the world itself.
Obito himself: is he dead? no he's alive...now he's dead, nope he's alive again thanks to Narujesus. Then he dies, then his spirit comes back to give Kakashi his rikudo and Uchiha power (will never live that down)
So many thing went wrong in the end but I guess it's to be expected when you are literally running one of the most popular mangas for 1.5 decades.
OP: You are entitled to love absolutely anything and everything about this manga, but that doesn't mean everyone shares your opinion in this matter. It was a little better than your average Shonen manga and I will leave it at that.
In addition, all the power scaling went through the roof far too quickly and haphazardly to meet deadlines.

Well when there is a powerful ass villain what are you supposed to do? Give a power up to side characters like kiba and tenten? NO, you give powerups that make actual sense to the main characters. The ENTIRE FREAKING SERIES it was foreshadowed and said several times that Naruto was some child of prophecy and that something special was entrusted to him. All they needed to do was connect him to the sage and boom- powerup! It wasn't bullsh!t. People are just looking for reasons to bash. I would like to see all of these idiots on here try to write a better story than kishi and to stop complaining unless they can. Sorry if I sound pissed but honestly just leave the Naruto side of the base of you think it's that bad. Just get out. Seriously leave. If you are going to talk about how it should have ended, than just pick a point where you feel it should have ended and stop reading. It's as simple as that. It's as if you only stick around to complain and ruin it for people who do like it. I'm done
Naruto wasn't/isn't invincible. There will always be someone stronger. Hashirama and Madara were the strongest of their time. Did that prevent threats or even more wars?
Detective Conan is still popular after almost 20 years Japan. Pokemon has been around just as long, and it's still popular worldwide. Age has nothing to do with quality of the story. As long as it's still good, and room to continue the plot I personally think he should. No reason he should stop, tbh.

YOU have every right NOT to like Naruto, but imposing your opinion onto others is where the line is cross. It's no longer an opinion.
Villains are suppose to be random though. You do know villains don't have to be characters we know or have relationship to the main characters.
If the plot is following Boruto and Sarada, why do Naruto need a villain to match his strength? Minato, Hashirama, and Tobirama were all powerful. Yet, there were still war.

Btw, the sword of nunoboko is only as powerful as the will of the person who wields it. It broke so easily for obito because he was mentally on the fence of whether he made the wrong turn in his life and if he should quit while he was at it
