Only idiot may call a on going riot that harms totally unrelated innocents and businesses as a 'civil rights protests' ... Especially considering its all over a drug dealer.

While it doesnt sound pretty but (forgive me for saying this) things are getting interesting. We are children of peace time .... it would be a wonder to see how America and the world fares after a paradigm shift.

It's the fact that we're children of peace time that I have a fear of those whom may one day lead us... children of peace, after all, have an expectation of the perpetuation of that peace, and when its inevitably struck down, they want anyone whom can swiftly bring it back. And it's that someone who may end up being quite... dangerous to the world.

Actually its quite the opposite ... The children of Peace are the ones who does not understand the horrors of War (me included .. i have tasted a sip but still don't understand) and does not understand value of freedom ... You have seen the worlds, havent you seen people gladly surrendering their freedom and while others gladly make it their cause to take those very much said freedoms and thus cause a conflict?

I'm not talking about the riots. I'm talking about the protests...

I think we are all discussing rioters here ... not some protestors who were concerned with a drug dealer.

It's quite ridiculous.

I believe in non-violent protesting and I think the police should be more forthcoming with information. That man probably was wronged and the loss of his life could have been prevented, but how can we really know when the police force has stayed silent on the matter? If people desire to protest because of the issue, it should be done peacefully. It should be an act of civil disobedience, not of mindless violence.

Well the guy was a drug dealer, while death could have been avoided but it was most likely a case of getting rid up a loose end ... No cartel likes their members and dealers in the hand of the police with a possibility of leaking information. But that is something else.

The people rioting has nothing to do with protests, other than providing them with cover and a smoke screen.

Considering how drug dealers ruins lives for some cash and the poison society, especially the vulnerable young .... I am sure he deserved to be treated to food and warm blankets while his victims suffered from withdrawal and other issues. Only if people were as kind as you. Again we are not talking about how fairly or harshly a drug dealer was treated.

We're not talking about that. Even if you did want to talk about that, I can make this even more about race. White armed murderers are captured without a bullet being fired and unarmed blacks are murdered in the street for selling cigarettes or drugs. Do you really not see the problem with that?

Of course it's not all about race, I'm just showing you an example. People do not deserve to be treated like that. They don't deserve to be killed or beaten brutally by the police. If people were taking up arms against the police it'd be a different story, but more often than not in these police brutality cases, the victims are unarmed. Somehow, because the man sells drugs means he deserves to be killed instead of sent to jail? How old are you man... You're talking like a twelve year old or a teabagger.
