Typical Sasuke fans they already had the ending that's why the show cased Sasuke and Naruto having one hand.. Why make a movie about a continuation without truly knowing the ending?
Naruto used KM and some RSM abilities. Like snapping Hinata out of that crap that made her do things for him was a RSM ability him having Kurama come out of his body to fight as something separate and not having to be Synced as one is part of RSM ability because he don't need Kurama in him anymore because have the Chakra off all the Tailed Beast.

To Rap it up KM was used for the majority and RSM were for some Toneri was only a minor threat which only had the power to steal Chakra from Naruto which did not help

I never understood why ppl thought he lost RSM in the first place. Moon dude used the chakra from naruto as a bomb, plus normal KCM can't reach into a persons body and pull stuff out unless I missed something in the manga?

He didn't lose RSM but he didn't use it in the last, he didn't need to. He has full Kurama now so his KM is stronger than yang/yin Kurama BM and probably as strong or stronger than BSM. Not only is Kurama's chakra reserve larger but his chakra itself is much more powerful. Go in the war arc and look at when Yang Kurama gave Kakashi a small amount of chakra but made Kamui at least 3x stronger then when Naruto gave the alliance chakra, Kakashi said it was stronger and higher in volume than before. Then when Naruto and Edo Minato gave the alliance Yin and Yang Kurama chakra, Choji said it was much stronger than before.

Naruto's base is either Kage or a level above that, he has Hashirama cells to boost his stamina and jutsu power, and have full Kurama; movie would have been over if he used his stronger forms.

This was my original thought on the whole thing in the first place. I just read a lot of BS on how he lost it because he didn't use it. If he used his RSM then the movie would have lasted probable as long as it took moon boy to introduce his self.

Made 1 mistake, he was in KSM; he was using SM in KM, had to double check. So he's on war arc RSM level or pretty close to it.

I see that now but I still don't think he lost RSM. Why would he have lost it, I thought the sage said Naruto was a meeting place for a the tailed beasts right? So would he still be able to use there chakra if needed. Also when have we seen RSM in the anime, the movie can't be a spoiler can it?

He didn't lose RSM, he simply didn't need it, he's much stronger now than he was 2 years ago so KSM was enough to handle Toneri. Hagoromo gave Naruto the ability to go into RSM, it's not something that he loses, it's like KM/BM; he uses Kurama's chakra for it but RSM is on a higher level. The Bijuus powers are not depended on RSM, it's a seperate powerup; he only needed to get all 9 Bijuu chakra before they all appeared. He should be able to use them in base, SM, KM, and BM. Naruto only got them back to back along with RSM just like how Sasuke got Hashirama chakra with a jutsu for Madara, then Hashirama cells when Kabuto healed him, then Rinnegan with Hagoromo Yin chakra; they aren't connected yet he got the back to back like Naruto.

The Last Naruto in KSM (using full Kurama) plus having Hashirama cells is above war arc Naruto in BSM (using Yang Kurama) because The Last Naruto have full Kurama who has twice the reserves and a much more powerful chakra in addition to Hashirama cells boosting stamina and jutsu's power.
