It is possible Mitsuki could be an antagonist.

Especially with Sasuke not around it would be like taking candy from a Baby.

The Villain has to be somebody that the new Generation can take on since their gonna be the Main characters now and the Previous Generation are gonna be side Characters their not gonna be as Important as they once were.

Guy's like Kaguya, Madara, etc aren't likely since their way above the Power Level of the new generation.

I'd like to see Oro as a villain, however, I do wonder how he will manage to appear as a threat now that Naruto and Sasuke can defeat him in an instant. Lol

Sasuke's not even in the Leaf Village and Naruto is too busy being Hokage.

Orochimaru, probably. I think a while back there was an interview with Kishi that said Orochimaru was definitely coming back - and, if he does, he'll probably be stronger than before, just so Naruto and Sasuke don't kick his ass immediately.

I reckon that the new series wont be about good vs bad, but simply overcoming missions and the exams. I reckon itll be more about the daily life as well as that of a ninja.

Kabuto is changed. But that does not mean he could not still be an antagonist. Even if he is good, it is possible he is not excused for what he did.
