What more was necessary? everything was taken care off..

Also the people caught in tsuki no mi don't turn into zetsu until they're chakra is drained.. No one is around to drain they're chakra. Also Hagoromo had no control over the two fighting each other. He couldn't stop them or make them. Maybe by taking the chakra back, but they still would have fought.

- Would telling Naruto and co. about his plan stop Sasuke at all? No. What would them knowing prevent?

Hagoromo is an existence outside the realm of their world, in a sense. He can't tamper with the natural order of things just because he happens to be there.

-How did he ruin any theme? The idea of the generation surpassing the previous is still prevalent. Naruto has surpassed all of his masters and his master's masters.

-They don't respawn if every last bit of their chakra is destroyed. Naruto also confirms this when Sasuke was burning the Juubi.

-Just in case they fail to stop Madara from activating MT. He could have done it at any moment via the tree and does activated it later on so it would have been handily. Do you seriously believe that not telling them is the believable or smart thing to do? Be honest.

-The alliance is still around. These are Naruto and Sasuke with power-ups. Sasuke also single handlely cut him in half. So yeah, they could have done it again. And Hagoromo did not know about Kaguya and Black Zetsu.

-First off, bold was never stated. Secondly, Black Zetsu's is not around to incite another moon's eye plan. Thirdly, he got rid of the Edos which could have given Naruto back-up via chakra cloaks.

-You know Sasuke could have just used stealth and stabbed Naruto through the head while he was base form, right? It's only by sheer like that he is alive.

-Did any in Naruto's generation surpass Hagoromo? No.

Kaguya is the worst character in Naruto, but Hagoromo comes in at a close second. The whole Ootsutsuki family is garbage, honestly. Most of the people who actually like those aliens are Hyuuga fans.

If we were given a backstory of him, maybe things would make more sense, it was the only thing Kishimoto didn't even bother to go into detail of.

I mean one of the greatest clans start from a guy who is said to go curse of hatred from not being chosen as successor to ninshuu, and all his descendants go curse of hatred from loss of a loved one...

Kishimoto did a really bad job when it comes down to the Otsutsuki clan...

Hagoromo really wasn't written good at all, it was like Kishimoto decided to just make him up just to fill in how come the 2 clans (Senju and Uchiha) always fought for centuries, not explaining more...

Also AShura has to clans descended from him, Senju and Uzumaki and Indra just has Uchiha... It's like Kishimoto didn't care to give his fans a story of Indra and Ashura or anything involving them
