This thread contains my personal opinion of the manga and also spoilers, if you're not caught up (obviously)...
So, I have finally caught up with One Piece and I must say I enjoyed every single panel of it.
I can not even describe what I felt while reading it, it really plays in another league if you really get into it.
It had some slow parts and took some time to come to the climax, but once you were at that climax, it didn't even stop anymore. Like after you reached it there were 20+ chapters which all kept you interested and which were really fun to read.
What I like most about One Piece is the variety of characters. Sure there are a few cliché characters, but if you really think about it, the complex' one's even them out again. I just love how many men of honor (like Zoro, Corazon, Cavendish, Whitebeard and many more) there are and everyone just cares for eachother. Even Doflamingo ;').
I could simply spend the whole day to tell you the things I like about One Piece, but let me just come to the current Dressrosa arc now.
So far, the arc has been amazing. The introduction and backstories of so many great characters (especially Corazon *_*) is what made this arc amazing and not to forget, Sabo!
Sabo immidiately got into my Top 5 again, because he still is a man of his word and helps Luffy as good as he can and also, he has my favorite DF now. He too is a man of honor since his early days and the exact opposite of Doflamingo. Speaking of the "devil", I hate and love Doflamingo. I just love his charisma, his pride, his DF, just... his personality in general. But when I look at it from Corazon's or Law's perspective, I hate him. (I think you get what I mean.) But I personally think that he too cares about his family and most of the people, even though he would never admit it.
All in all, this arc - has regarding to character development and introductions- been the best for me this far. And I look forward to a chapter every Thursday now, instead of catching up with 784 chapters, even though it has been a very, very nice ride!
