Tbh defeat for Orochimaru is meaningless. As long as there's not an attack that can wipe out him and every last Curse Mark too (like IT), there's no reason to worry. Out of every character, he's been through and survived the worst.

I do think that she's going to keep her knowledge of Karin secret and seek answers from someone equivalent to Ino or Sai (close to Sakura) for answers and those answers are going to lead her to Orochimaru (like Father like Daughter). h:
