LOL, where did you get that? Isn't it another crap that makes the new chapter a retcon?
It was posted on the official Boruto movie website a week before the raws even came out. Sakura IS her mother, because she raised her. But I, personally think Karin is her birth mother. They can't spoil the manga before it is even released, that would be stupid. So I think they mean that for all intents and purposes Sakura is her mother, cuz she raised her. That, or he spoiled the manga before it even began.

Brah why are her eyes so bad as a child if no one from the Sasusaku family needed glasses?
I know right. Karin being her mother was always the only thing that made any sense. People I knew that didn't even read Naruto thought that was Karin's kid. If she has poor eyesight and is Sakura's child then Kishimoto's writing really is worse than I thought. This isn't the real world, this is manga and anime, no way does a character with glasses have bad eyesight when the parents' ENTIRE 2 clans never wore glasses. Not without serious trauma, and I just don't see that here.

Honestly he would be using a horrible red herring that makes no sense if she is not Karin's. But its Kishi so I dont hold my breathe.

She screams Shannaro. It doesn't rub off from Sakura if Naruto has dattebayo since he didn't grow up with his mother.
Naruto says DatteBAYO...His son says DatteBASA..His mom said DatteBANE..They are DIFFERENT. Shannaro is just a word that Sarada picked up, it isn't inherited. Word ticks like datte- maybe, but not the identical word.

I totally agree. Nothing would surprise me with Kishimoto. What's funny is SS will be so proud if she is Sakura's even though it has been shown that that 'family' is pretty much non-existent at the moment.

Aren't like all female Uzumakis red haired?

I don't think that Sarada is Karin's daugther, she doens't look like her at all + she's not red haired
Uchiha black hair is dominant and uzumaki trait is recessive. Also the red hair is the hair color of all full blooded uzumaki not just women... Did you forget Nagato's hair is red when healthy.

Red hair is an Uzumaki trait which isn't only exluded to females. All pure Uzumaki members have red hairs. Naruto ended up inheriting his fathers hair color, so it is possible that Sarada might inherited her fathers hair color. Her hair isn't pink either, anyway it looks like she is Karin's daughter and all but we're talking about Kishi here, prepared to be trolled.
