For me, this was always a major question, even after the series ended, "Who was Kaguya's husband ?". A few people said that he was either a tribal warrior or was not relevant to the story. But, I highly doubt that as Kaguya, Hagoromo and Hamura are historical figures who laid the basis of the story.

All three of them pretty much laid the basis of the story. To say that the Husband of Kaguya is not an important character doesn't sit well with me. Then who is the Husband ? Well there is a certain common behavioral pattern which connects Kaguya and Orochimaru mysteriously...
When Kaguya is revived, she mistakes Naruto for Hagoromo and Sasuke for Hamura.
You must be registered for see images
She cries when she thinks of Naruto as Hagoromo and Sasuke as Hamura.
You must be registered for see images
This does not make sense, since Naruto is Ashura (Yang) and Sasuke is Indra (Yin) both of which are Hagoromo's inheritance.
You must be registered for see images
So why did Kaguya connect Sasuke with Hamura ? I think the answer lies in her memories as she was sealed by two people, her two sons. I think Kaguya subconsciously connected Sasuke with Hamura and Naruto with Hagoromo.
You must be registered for see images
We see that Kaguya has a certain bias against her sons. When she sees Naruto, the representation of Hagoromo, she gets filled with Hatred and Rage.

But, the same cannot be said for Sasuke, the representation Of Hamura. Kaguya teleports Sasuke (Hamura) away to another dimension to take him out of the picture while she engages Naruto (Hagoromo) directly.

It seems that Kaguya had a more loving connection with Hamura over Hagoromo. Strangely, this pattern is reflected in Orochimaru also.
Orochimaru considers Naruto (Hagoromo) as not only a threat but also a burden. He engaged him in Part 2 in Naruto's Four Tail Form and had a very stormy relationship with him. Naruto pretty much had the same attitude against Orochimaru of Rage and Hate.

I think Kaguya didn't give a shit about sasuke because he was not a threat to her. Naruto was. Naruto was too powerful. He was carrying Kakashi, Sakura, Obito AND Sasuke. If he didn't, all of them would have fell to their deaths. Kaguya knew that to stop them, she had to take out Naruto first.

Nope, both of them were equal threats. If Kaguya had killed Sasuke, Naruto would not be able to stop Kaguya. If Kaguya had killed Naruto, Sasuke would not have being able to stop Kaguya. As far as the sealing process went, both of them were equal, i.e; Sasuke = Naruto, or the sealing would have become imbalanced. Kaguya attacked Naruto (Hagoromo), because it was seeing him that Kaguya was filled with rage.
Ah sure… well, at least I can give it a try. There’s a lot of stuff I can talk about regarding the importance or possible importance of certain colours. It’s probably something of an oversimplification to draw up a colour chart and allocate meanings without context. In certain circumstances colour can add an extra layer of meaning that is not always obvious. A lot of the imagery that Kishi draws upon is religious in origin and colour is often used to convey specific meanings in religious art. Here are some collected ideas on what colours might be important and why. I'll do a follow up on some other colours that I think are important (Black and Blue) next time.
ROY - G - BIV Part 1
Some people dismiss colour as something completely unimportant in Naruto. Maybe they’re right, colour should really have no importance in a monochrome manga whatsoever. Even in Black and White though, Kishi still manages to insert a lot of symbolism into his colour scheme. Sometimes specific colour choices are purely stylistic, other times they hold deep religious significance – mostly I think it depends on the context whether a colour is important or not.
Orange / Dark Blue or Purple
Before I get into the Yin and Yang intricacies I’ll cover some of the basic reasons why Naruto and Sasuke mostly wear Orange and Dark Blue. Sasuke has been less consistent in Naruto in the colours he wears. Mostly Sasuke is pictured in dark blue but in the Anime his Susanoo is shown as being purple. The original design for his Susanoo in the Manga was actually Dark Blue. Particular shades are not that important but these two colours do tie in with a lot of their family history.
In interviews Masashi Kishimoto has gone on record as saying he chose Orange as Naruto’s main colour because it made his character pop on the page. Kishi tends to try lots of ideas, keep the ones that work and discard the ones that don’t. Orange suits Naruto even though the colour is probably the least practical thing an actual Ninja would wear.
The colour Orange is an integral part of the character from start to finish. Naruto’s Parents each had their own primary colours. His father was known as the yellow flash:

While his mother was known as the Tomato or the Red Hot Habanero (a red chilli):

From the time of his birth Naruto has had Kurama (the Nine Tailed Demon Fox) sealed within him. If you’ve ever seen a fox (I’ve got a family of them in my backyard at the moment) then you’ll know their distinctive orange and black coat:

Kishi himself probably just likes the colour and it’s worth noting that Jio Freed from 666 Satan (the comic written by his twin brother before Naruto) also wears the same colour combo:
You must be registered for see images
Sasuke’s Dark Blue probably has something to do with his belonging to a clan tasked with being the village police force:
You must be registered for see images
Police forces the world over tend to wear Dark Blue. The idea of a police force was started in France but the standard Dark Blue uniform was first introduced in London for the Metropolitan Police. When Sir Robert Peel first established the Metropolitan Police a committee decided that Dark Blue was a suitable colour for their uniform. The thinking behind this decision was to distinguish a civilian police force from martial law (where the army controls the streets). The British Army at the time wore Bright Red and so Dark Blue was seen as less intimidating for the public.

Sasuke’s Susanoo was originally displayed as Blue or Dark Blue in the Manga

Over time Purple has been adopted for Sasuke’s Susanoo in the Anime but there’s not really all that much of a difference in appearance.
I tend to think that the colours chosen for Naruto and Sasuke also underline a religious message about Yin and Yang that has been developed throughout the manga. Neither Orange nor Dark Blue / Purple on their own hold any religious significance but when Naruto and Sasuke are juxtaposed with each other then you should start to see a Yin Yang theme being developed within the manga connecting Sasuke to Yin and Naruto to Yang.
Yin and Yang represent a philosophy about the natural order in the world encompassing a variety of extremes that only exist in relation to one another. Originally they were used to describe Night (Yin) and Day (Yang). In China the two principle heavenly bodies, the Sun and Moon, are referred to as Taiyang and Taiyin (“Tai” meaning great). There is no scientific basis for Yin or Yang but as a philosophy the two concepts are used to provide a framework for helping to understand the world (at least that’s how I understand them … I don’t follow the Tao / Buddhism so maybe I’m not the best person to explain them).
Naruto and Sasuke as the heirs to Asura and Indra have each taken on the mantles of Yang and Yin:

Orange and Dark Blue reinforce this imagery when used to represent Naruto and Sasuke. Orange is a warm bright colour, Dark Blue and Purple are Cold ones. This has very little to do with their actual temperature and more to do with our colour associations. We tend to associate bright colours with the daytime and darker colours with nighttime. If you spend too much time out in the sun or get too close to fire you’ll burn and turn red, if you freeze to death your body turns blue and your lips purple – I wouldn’t advise testing it out though.
These associations have very little to do with actual temperature and more to do with day to day experience. If you look at the temperature of flames and stars then the opposite is actually true but for most of human history nobody would have ever seen a blue flame.
As far as the spectrum goes the dividing line lies somewhere in Green – which can be either warm or cold or neither. Red, Orange and Yellow are considered Warm, while Blue, Indigo and Violet are considered Cold. Go searching on google and it’s easy to find color wheels displaying the basic division:

Kishi seems to frame important pairs of characters such that they evoke a sense of being two halves of a whole. The moral of the story isn’t that one is necessariy bad and the other good but that these two forces when working together can achieve great things but when they fall into conflict terrible destruction can ensue. This is the message of Hagoromo’s Tablet:

Black Zetsu, on the Demon’s behest (at least that’s the theory I’m developing – I can’t say for certain whether it’ll end up being the case), sought a different vision where such pairings would fight each other to the death for dominance. The Uchiha were/are not inherently evil. They have just been led down the wrong path by outside forces:
You must be registered for see images
In short I don’t think it’s entirely accurate to say that Orange=Yang and Purple=Yin but given the right context and when framed in the right way I think Kishi does use these colours to evoke the forces Naruto and Sasuke are said to wield. These are not the easiest concepts to grasp … nobody is supposed to fully understand the Tao, it is said to elude any kind of comprehensive definition … also I could be entirely wrong but this is how I would interpret Kishi’s Yin Yang Colour Scheme.
Pink
Sakura’s pink hair is easier to explain. Her name is Sakura. Sakura is a type of plant also known as Cherry Blossom. When the Cherry Blossom blooms in Japan it is a big event every year (something I’d really like to see some day).

The Pink hue of the plant in blossom is enough on it’s own to explain Sakura’s hair colour, however it might also provide a connection to Kaguya and her descendants on Asura’s branch of the family tree. Sakura for instance might be another of those distant relations to the Senju just like the Uzumaki are. Pink Hair is not that far from Red Hair, pink is really just a shade of red after all.

Sakura has two other possible connections to the Senju and Uzumaki. She picked up a technique passed down the Uzumaki to Tsunade (a quarter Senju and a quarter Uzumaki) very quickly. Maybe she had a natural affinity for using it – Shizune is one of the most skilled Jonin around and she couldn’t manage it:

If the women of the clan inherit Yin then the men might inherit Yang – at least that’s my thinking. Which brings me to Sakura’s second connection to the Senju Clan. That mark on Hashirama’s forehead is also the Clan Symbol for the Haruno Clan (Sakura’s Clan).
You must be registered for see images
Sakura’s pink hair might indicate that Sakura comes from one of the branch families on Asura’s side of the heirs to the Ootsutsuki. Senju are not necessarily the only clan to have been born of Asura’s loins. Asura came from the Ootsutsuki clan. We don’t know whether Asura started the Senju clan himself or whether lots of clans emerged from his ancestors. The Uzumaki, the Akimichi Clan, the Haruno Clan, Gaara’s Clan and the Senju might all be legitimate heirs to Hagoromo and his younger son if red hair is at all important.
Purple
This is one of the two main colours of Hinata. I’ll get to the meaning of Hinata and the Hyuuga Clan’s White Eyes in due course (White Eyes being the literal meaning of Byakugan) but for now I thought I’d dip into a bit of History to explain the importance of Purple (and not the Dark Blue variety of Sasuke). Both in the Anime and the Manga Hinata tends to wear purple (or lavender as the Wiki puts it)

When we finally get to see Hinata’s Chakra manifest during Naruto: The Last her natural chakra colour reveals itself to be Purple
You must be registered for see images
In Hinata’s case this purple is probably intended to be a reflection of her Royalty. Purple is traditionally the colour of extreme wealth and status – all around the world including in Japan. In the Roman Empire, you could measure a man’s status by the amount of purple he wore. The wealthy and senior officials (senators, generals…) would wear a Toga called a Toga Picta that was mostly purple with a gold trim (the gold was the cheap part), while the Emperor and any statues to gods would be dressed in an all purple toga called a Toga Trabea.
In the time before synthetic dyes, purple cloth was extremely expensive to manufacture. In order to capture the colour purple, thousands of special snails or shellfish needed to be collected, then each creature had a tiny gland surgically removed and these glands were then mashed together to produce the colour. This was ridiculously time consuming, labourious and most of all expensive. Snails are extremely small and hard to farm while Togas were made from very large pieces of cloth). In Japan too, purple is associated with wealth and power, probably for similar reasons.

The proof of Hinata’s Royalty though is in her White Eyes, which I’ll try to explain in due course. The White of the Hyuuga’s Eyes ties into a goddess who deserves closer inspection, but first I’ll tackle the importance of White to Orochimaru.
Milky White
Orochimaru is the one who is associated with the Void, not Hinata. The Void is Orochimaru’s Ring in Akatsuki and it’s something that has it’s own significance which I go into in an earlier post (page 9 – The Downward Spirals). The Void has little or nothing to do with Hinata or the Hyuuga as far as I’m aware.
White is important to Orochimaru for other reasons. It is the colour of his skin, it is the colour of the symbol for his bodyguards and it is the colour of a substance he amasses in his own personal dimension. This White could be characterized as Milky White for reasons I’ll get into as opposed to the Pure White of Kaguya’s Eyes and her descendants. I think this colour connects Orochimaru to the Juubi Jinchuuriki throughout the generations and to the army of White Zetsu.
Orochimaru’s White Skin is distinctly white, almost unhealthily white. This being a Black and White manga it is next to impossible to tell when a character is “white” as in Caucasian (which is really closer to pink) or “white” in the sense of an A4 sheet of paper. Naruto may as well be Caucasian with his blond hair and blue eyes. Orochimaru is white like a sheet of paper. The Juubi is the same variety of white and each of the Juubi Jinchuuriki that we’ve met so far (Kaguya, Madara and Obito) have all shifted to white when they absorb the Juubi:
Kaguya

There seems to be a colour shift in characters who absorb the cursed chakra and are unable to control it. It’s unclear what happened shortly before Hagoromo died but it would seem from Tobi’s account that Hagoromo too started to lose control of the Juubi’s chakra and I would expect this to have been reflected by a change in Hagoromo’s appearance shortly before the end…(Hagoromo’s death hasn’t been shown yet but I expect it to be shown in Part 3)
Hagoromo’s struggle:
You must be registered for see images
This shade of white is sinister. The colour reflects the Chakra of the Juubi and the White Zetsu that are made from it. It or They are made from the bodies of dead ninja who have been killed and consumed so as to grow the Juubi’s chakra (Little Shop of Horrors style). This is what White Zetsu is made from:
This White Chakra is what Hagoromo took from his mother and reformed into the Bijuu. Kurama is made from the same stuff as White Zetsu but with Hagoromo and Naruto’s help, this chakra was reforged into the bijuu we know today:

Orochimaru is connected to this chakra. We don’t know for certain how or why yet but his immortality is reliant on it. Orochimaru does not have a body to speak of. He transfers into the bodies of others and uses them until they get worn out or until he finds a better vessel. Any injuries he suffers are sustained by his host. When Orochimaru gets his face burnt off by Sasuke, his arm chopped off by Itachi or his body ripped in two by Naruto – these are of little impediment to the immortal Snake:

I think that he might have started transferring bodies during the time of the Shinju. The orphan he grew up as in Konoha might just have been another host – former hosts in Orochimaru’s Dimension

Orochimaru inhabits bodies by means of transmigration, something that only Indra and Asura do besides Orochimaru:
You must be registered for see images
The Transmigration Ritual that Orochimaru uses to transfer bodies reveals a dimension full of the same material that White Zetsu is made out of. This sea is a sea of souls:
You must be registered for see images
This sea of souls is something that comes from Hindu beliefs in Shesha – the Snake God or Prince of the Naga who serves as the counterpart to Brahma. Where Brahma is credited with creation, Shesha periodically destroys everything so that it can be built anew. This rather strange relationship is depicted with a lot of arresting iconography that Kishi borrows from – this is Shesha and Brahma on the Sea of Milk (source of the elixir of life for the gods)
You must be registered for see images
Here is Vasuki (a different Naga) being used by Indra (Prince of the gods or Deva) and the Asuras (a race of animal spirits or gods) to churn the sea of milk in order to extract the Elixir of Life (the key to immortality for the gods and what Orochimaru covets):
You must be registered for see images
In short the Milky White of Orochimaru, the Juubi Jinchuuriki and White Zetsu represents the immortality of the gods. We have only just been introduced to a family of gods - the family of Kaguya – and I imagine we have much to learn about their history in Part 3 or future movies. Orochimaru appears to be related to this family in one way or another. Depending on which stories Kishi borrows from (there are many variations to choose from), I imagine Orochimaru could end up being revealed as either Kaguya’s father (the King of the Ootsutsuki) or her husband (the father of Hagoromo and Hamura). I would rule out Orochimaru actually being Hamura since we finally got to meet him in Naruto: The Last and he’s not evil as far as I can tell.
This brings me to the Symbol of the Sound Five, Orochimaru’s elite bodyguard, as seen in the symbol on Kimimaro’s tunic:
You must be registered for see images
This symbol represents Yang devoid of Yin
You must be registered for see images
This might essentially be what makes up the White Zetsu. They are essentially reconstituted bodies. Yang traditionally represents the body in contrast to Yin, which represents the Spirit. The White Zetsu could simply be characterized as digested dead bodies refined into pure Yang – we’ll have to wait for part 3 to learn more and find out for certain though...
You must be registered for see images
The Yin Yang symbol with just Yang with no Yin apparently represents a world out of balance. Yin and Yang are supposed to work in harmony. This symbol according to the wiki represents nature out of order. This fits with Hagoromo’s message to his sons (see above) of getting opposing forces to work together in contrast to what Madara and Indra attempted which was the conquest of one force over the other. This vision of nature gone awry is illustrated by Madara’s rebirth and the Hashiboob, which was the handiwork of Kabutorochimaru (Obito’s Partner):

Pure White
I distinguish pure white from milky white because I think the meaning behind the colour of the Byakugan is entirely different to the meaning behind Orochimaru / the Juubi Jinc / White Zetsu’s pasty skin. Even though you’d be right to think that white is white, the meaning that attaches to any particular colour really depends on the context in which it is used. For the Byakugan, I think that Kishi has combined two different ideas. The design of the eyes is based on an old obscure horror film but the way they operate and to some extent the meaning behind them is more religious.
The horror flic is a film called Scanners. It was made way back in 1981 (before I was even born). It is an extremely dark and violent film about two brothers who develop mind control powers (kind of like the Sharingan). Kishi more or less ripped off the entire appearance of the White Eyes with Bulging Veins directly from this film. He also more or less copied the relationship of the two brothers but that’s a whole other conversation. If you’re old enough to watch the film, I wholeheartedly recommend it, but I doubt it will be to everyone’s taste. Here’s Michael Ironside using the forerunner of the Byakugan:
You must be registered for see images
There is nothing pure about the eyes in Scanners. I use the word “pure” to describe Hinata and the Hyuuga’s White because I think there might be a religious undertone to the way the eyes are used. The ability to see in all directions at once without impediment ties into a goddess popular all throughout Asia. The goddess in question is the inspiration for a lot of techniques in the manga – here is a statue in the manga that is typical of real world statues to this particular goddess in Japan:

Statues erected years later:

I think that the Statue on the Left might represent the Demon. I’ll cover this statue next time in a follow up on the possible importance of Black and Blue. The Statue on the Right though looks like one of 33 incarnations of Kannon, the goddess of mercy. These distinctively white statues of Kannon are referred to as a Byaku Kannon. The White represents the pure aspiration for enlightenment. This particular incarnation is prayed to in order to ward off sickness, grant fertility (Hinata is the mother of Naruto’s kids after all) and to help raise children.
You will notice the marking on the forehead. This is the same marking as found on Sakura and Tsunade’s foreheads. The technique despite being called a Yin Seal and appearing Black is actually called the Byakugou which translates as White Hair. The White Hair is something monks would wrap on their foreheads to symbolize a third eye. This Third Eye is supposed to be able to see beyond this world into the next.
Kannon uses her Third Eye to watch over the Six Realms of the afterlife in Pure Land Buddhism. These Six Realms are the Pure Lands of the Samsara, the “cycle of suffering”. Kannon aids those caught up in the cycle of suffering to break their cycle in order to reach enlightenment. I think that in the Manga, Kaguya effectively represents Kannon. She too has a Third Eye and she too governs the afterlife – though Kaguya is currently evil (I expect that to change in Part 3 but I may be wrong). The Six Realms in Naruto correspond to the different dimensions Kaguya travels between during their fight:

Each Realm is named after one of the Paths of Pain:

These Realms can be seen on religious paintings of the Samsara (the cycle of suffering):

The Byakugan though represents Kannon’s true power. In India she is known as Avalokiteśvara which translates as the Lord Who Regards All (avalokita = observe, iśvara = unimpeded). Her current day names in both Chinese and Japanese mean more or less the same thing. Her name in Chinese, Guanyin is actually short for Guanshiyin, which means "Observing the Sounds (or Cries) of the World". Likewise the Japanese Kannon is an abbreviation for Kanzeon 観世音 which translates as the one who constantly surveys (kan 観) the world (ze 世) listening for the sounds (on 音) of suffering. I think that the Byakugan effectively represents this ability to see suffering wherever it exists.
The Byakugan can see in all directions and through any object. Their eyesight is sharper even than the Sharingan. If Kaguya represents Kannon then the inheritance of the Byakugan is her true legacy. This is what makes the Byakugan Princess so important:

The Hyuuga are not the only clan whose power derives from Kannon. The Senju take their name from one of the more famous depictions of Kannon known as the Senju Kannon. The Senju Kannon is a 1000 armed manifestation of the goddess of Mercy. Although Kannon was always atuned to the suffering of others it is said that she did not always have the capacity to do anything about it. In order that she might better serve those in need, she is said to have been granted 1000 arms by Amida in order to help others out. The Senju Kannon is the model upon which Hashirama’s Wooden Buddha is based…

The Moon’s Eye Plan might be an indirect reference to another of Kannon’s incarnations – the image of Guanyin staring at the moon on the water is an icon across China and Japan, known as the Shuiyue Guanyin (Chinese) or Suigetsu Kannon (Japanese – NB also the member of Team Hebi). Its message (as far as I can make out) is that you shouldn’t be fooled by appearances – at night the moon looks like it’s on the water but it is only a reflection.
Kaguya reflected from the Moon:

One final connection between a specific Hyuuga and the pure white of Kannon is the birds that Kishi uses as a metaphor for Neji’s journey. For most of Part 1 Neji behaves like a monster because he resents being forced to be subservient to the Main Branch of the Hyuuga Clan - who he mistakenly blames for his father's death. The Marking on Neji’s forehead is called the Bird in a Cage Seal in the manga, which is used to prevent rebellion by branch family members and to seal their Byakugan into the Tenseigan (something revealed in Naruto: The Last). The Main Family likely developed the Seal in order to prevent repetition of the destruction of the Main Branch of the Ootsutsuki Family by Toneri’s Branch family.
On death the Byakugan are sealed by the marking on their foreheads which looks like a Swastika but is actually another symbol associated with Kannon known as a Hōin 宝印 which represents possession of all virtues and devotion to Buddhism):

Neji is bitter and angry until Naruto defeats him. Naruto shows Neji that he need not be defined by his inferior status within the Hyuuga clan. Neji is released from his cage by this defeat as illustrated by the birds flying off:

... after Neji’s wing’s get clipped his death inspires the Shinobi Aliiance and his “will” gives shape to these feelings as the giant bird that takes down the Juubi (at least temporarily):

This might be a bit of a stretch but given all the other connections to Guanyin / Kannon, I think that this might in part also be connected to the association of Guanyin in China with the Dove (which represents peace and fecundity):

I'll have to cut it short here. I've put in too many pictures to go any further. I'll do more next time on Black and Blue.
You must know that everybody associates a musical note to a feeling without knowing it.
Something like E flat makes you feel sadness and D minor makes you feel happiness.I don't know the codes but I know they exist.
It is also the case for colours.
Colors can be associated to feelings , to personalities too and probably more.
Sasuke and blue:
You are right to associate blue and not purple to Sasuke , Kishimoto paralleled Fuijin vs Raijin with Naruto vs Sasuke , and , in the anime , he colored Raijin in blue.
And , in "the last booklet" , he clearly associates blue with Sasuke:
That wheel is interesting to parallel with the personalities of the characters of the manga and the colours that Masashi associated with them.
Blue is the coldest color , the pure opposite of orange.Sasuke and Naruto.
Pink is just in between those opposites.Sakura.
Just like green , that has been associated with Kakashi (also Yin/Yang).
You must be registered for see images
White is the center , white has no personality , white is Hinata , lol...
Your theory over Sakura is interesting.
I liked when you talked about the Yang seal and Sakura 's symbol.
That made me think about that draw:
You must be registered for see images
Yang has been associated with right handed men and physical abilities , and Yin with left handed men and brain abilities.
Right handed men tend to be more handy in our right handed men world , and left handed men tend to be clever , so those parallels go great.
When we see Naruto/Yang and Sasuke/Yin parallels and many other Yin/Yang parallels (like in Itachi's flashback with Danzo) , Naruto is drawn at the left side of the draw (representing right and Yang) and Sasuke is drawn at the right side of the draw (representing left and Yin).
That symbol of Sakura's clan is drawn at the left side of the draw may be associated with right and Yang.
The temple of Konoha statues.
I wanted to point that the statues in the konoha temple were paralleled with "the leaf side and Uchiha side" , right (drawn at the left) and left (drawn at the right) , body and spirit , emotions and serenity , attack and defense , ... , light and shadow , Yang and Yin:
You must be registered for see images
I also think that this draw has a huge meaning.
I tend to think that the statues are representing Tai Yin and Tai Yang.
In that draw , the "Yang statue" looks like a shintoist deity , a Ashura , the "Yin" one looks like a buddhist deity.
Like in chapter 671 , although those 2 statues behind Sasuke and Naruto have attributes of both the Tai Yin statue and the Tai Yang statue:
You must be registered for see images
Naruto's statue has his eyes closed , the hand seal of serenity , in a defensive position , the third eye , the circle behind him , those were attributes of the "Tai Yin" statue ,
Sasuke's statue has his eyes open , in attack mode , the trident and that huge nose (just like Hagoromo) , those were attributes of the "Tai Yang" statue.
I smell that Kishimoto is trying to put the syncretism Shinto/Buddhist that happened in Japan as a central theme of the manga.
Yin and Yang , true happiness can be obtained with cooperation , that makes me think to the religious wars that happened during 1000 years in Japan between buddhism and shintoism (Yin and Yang) , that stopped (true happiness) when Japan adopted a mix of the 2 religions (cooperation) created 1000 years before by a Japan monk that travelled in China named Kukai (he makes me think to Hagoromo).
That syncretism would be represented in the manga by that staue that would represent Tai Ji , in the manga:
You must be registered for see images
If you look closely at its eyes and at the eyes of the statues behind Naruto ans Sasuke , and at the eyes of the "Tai Yin" and "Tai Yang" statues , you'll see that the eyes of the "Tai Ji" statue is a 50/50 mix of the other.
I would love to see your analysis of those draws.
I would love to see what's in that temple.
I think that there's more hystory hidden in the Konoha temple than in the temple of fire , given how detailed the Konoha temple statues are compared to those of the temple of fire.
Interesting read over milky white and pure white , thanks for that work , I can't wait for black and blue ,
Hello, Rabbit Teth, I just came up with a recent idea.
Hagoromo :-
Hagoromo has two staffs. The Sun Staff and The Moon Staff.
The Sun/Ashura/Light is a representation of Yang.
The Moon/Indra/Darkness is a representation of Yin.
The two staffs (Sun Seal and Moon Seal) together form Yin/Yang, i.e; Hagoromo's Rinnegan.
Hamura :-
I was wondering if Hamura also followed this same principle of Yin and Yang ? We never saw the bottom half of Hamura's staff in the final battle against the Juubi after all.
You must be registered for see images
The Star Seal that Hamura carries has two Symbolism Elements (I could not figure out which fit, until I realized it could be both). The Big Bang (Creation of the Universe) and The Big Crunch (Destruction of the Universe).
The Staff that Hamura carries according to you is an Three Pronged Ornamental Rake. This three pronged rake is used to tend to Gardens (Trees and Plants). Could this staff be perhaps connected to the God Tree's Natural Energy (The Third Power in the Series) ?
This Natural Energy/God Tree is a representation of Yang. This represents Creation of The World (Big Bang).
A variation of the Rake is the Three pronged Trishula. The Trishula is carried by the Demon Statue at the place of Danzo and Itachi's interaction (Along with Sun and Moon recreating the Triple Spiral, Sun , Moon and Void).
This Trishula perhaps represents the Void Energy (Forth Energy in the series)/Orochimaru/Shesha and is a representation of Yin. This Represents the Destruction of the world (Big Crunch). This Trishula perhaps became Black Zetsu ? (According to your Early theories on Black Zetsu and Hamura's Staff)
The Two Staffs (Rake and Trishula = Star Seal) together form Yin/Yang, i.e; Hamura's Tenseigan ?
And Hagoromo's Rinnegan (Yang/Garuda/Vishnu) and Hamura's Tensaigan (Yin/Aruna/Shesha) re-create the Yin/Yang Symbol, the All-Seeing Eye ?
So, I think it goes like this :-
Hagoromo -> Sun (Yang) and Moon (Yin).
Hamura -> Nature (Yang) and Void (Yin).
Triple Spiral -> Sun and Moon and Void.
Black Zetsu -> Created from the Void/Trishula Staff.
Sun + Moon = Rinnegan. (Yin/Yang) - Hagoromo's Inheritance.
As far as we know, this is the top half of Hamura's staff.

We never saw the bottom half of Hamura's staff.
You must be registered for see images
Even though, we have a full view of Hagoromo's dual ended staff.
You must be registered for see images
The picture that we saw of Hamura in Madara's flashback shows him sitting in the Juubi's mouth. I think it's Hamura because of some glaring similarities :-
Hamura has outstretched arms and has adapted the Snake Genjutsu pose that shows that he was also infected with the Demon's Venom (This pose has being taken by Madara, Obito, Sasuke, Kaguya, Nagato and Deva Pain (Shinra Tensei)).
You must be registered for see images
The Juubi I think is Hagoromo infected by the demon. It can't be Kaguya cause Hamura still lived for a long time after Kaguya's sealing.
You must be registered for see images
What I wanted to point out though is that the bottom half of Hamura's staff looks bent as if it has broken off/melted away.

Another thing that I wanted to point out is that Hagoromo did not just carry his staff, he also carried a sword in battle against the Juubi.
You must be registered for see images
Could this be the same sword that the RDS/Hamura uses to cut souls (It's broken in half though, kinda like how both Hagoromo's (Indra and Ashura) and Hamura's (Rake and Black Zetsu) staffs broke in halves) ?
The Fourth Shinobi World War lead to three major Incidents happening. While, one would think that all three events would have equal importance on the story, we see that Two events are given a lot of importance, whereas One event which lays the foundation of the story is completely thrown out of the window. This one foundation event being grossly neglected by Kishi doesn't make any sense. Or does it ?
The first incident and the biggest reason of the War : The Casting of Mugen Tsukuyomi.

This is where comes the third event, planned perfectly by the Demon, Orochimaru and his puppet, Spiral Zetsu. That was the revival of the God Tree, the thing which laid the foundation of the story.

The God Tree according to the Databook had a very bloody origin. It was born from the blood flown by countless people dying in wars. It was as if the God Tree itself has a very unholy origin, hinting that Orochimaru engineered countless wars for the God Tree to take root.
Notice the Spiral (Tobi) telling the story.

God Tree Databook :-
Ever since "humans" were given form, they have fought each other and walked in a world of war. The earth was stained with blood, and as if it were absorbing that blood for nourishment, the Shinju took root in the earth. Eventually the Shinju beared a single fruit, and a certain clan came from another world seeking that fruit: the Ootsutsuki clan. Kaguya, leader of the Ootsutsuki, ate the fruit and became the progenitor of all chakra, and with her absolute power brought peace to the world in an instant.
The God Tree would create a Holy Fruit from all the blood flown in wars.

This Fruit was eaten by Kaguya, after which she transferred the power to her sons, Hagoromo and Hamura.

This is the same God Tree that was revived in the Fourth Shinobi World War. Orochimaru from the beginning wanted a vessel compatible with the God Tree's Fruit, i.e; Sasuke (Currently). Yet, The God Tree is completely forgotten in light of Kaguya's revival and Naruto and Sasuke's battle.
While, the main characters very busy fighting; Orochimaru was going on the course of his true plan. Orochimaru was the one who infected Spiral Zetsu with the Curse seal bending him to his will.

As far as my speculation goes, the whole Kaguya revival thingy was a distraction for Orochimaru to ensure that the God Tree will not be sealed away and he could get it's fruit. So, in this grand plan, where does Orochimaru fit ? Orochimaru throwing off Sasuke. (That Irony, Lol )

How doyou mean by That Reading from the beginni G thread? And maybe the incarnation of jiraija was the brother of orochimaru demon form. That jiraija incarnation learned hagoromu to do the goodstuff and That his sommoning animal is That old toad That can look in to the future.
So it looks like Kishi has had grander plans for the New Era Project after all. I was worried this new Gaiden run might be the kids chasing Kondoru for a couple of chapters. Here's an updated theory I put together a while ago but didn't post because I thought it was a bit ridiculous. Still this is Naruto…
Sarada
Karin having the same glasses as Sarada wasn’t an accident. The clear implication is that Sarada isn’t Sakura’s daughter… Which is really, really sad for Sakura.
But… where’s Sasuke? Why would he leave another woman’s daughter with his wife and then leave? I’m guessing he wouldn’t without good reason.
I doubt Sasuke had a child by another woman and then took the child … dumped it with his wife and then went back to Karin.
Option 1 Conjunctivitis
Essentially Sarada could simply be a normal run of the mill Uchiha who needs glasses in spite of the fact that neither of her supposed parents need them.
Sarada might just need glasses because of her nascent Sharingan. There’s precedent for this with Obito who wore goggles because his eyes felt like they always had sand in them before he awakened his eyes.
Obito
You must be registered for see images
This is possible but I feel like it’s unlikely. Sakura clearly knows what’s up. She even photoshopped a family photo using a Team Hebi photo in order to keep up the pretense for Sarada’s benefit:
You must be registered for see images
So who is Sarada?
It might be that Sasuke had a daughter with Karin and then was forced to find a home for his daughter after Karin was killed. Personally I think this option is unlikely, not because it isn’t possible … but because the story wouldn’t go anywhere.
This being a manga, the most ludicrously over the top explanation is almost always the real one. With this in mind I’ll go over how the Demon might be involved.
Option 2 Project Yamato
Project Yamato is what I would call the collected experiments of Orochimaru designed at creating a perfect body:
You must be registered for see images
Captain Yamato is the product of grafting the First’s DNA onto 60 random orphans:
You must be registered for see images
Yamato is an assumed name allocated by Tsunade for a special mission:
You must be registered for see images
The name was probably chosen because of where Yamato was conceived under Root:
You must be registered for see images
Tenzou, Yamato’s real name is one that he took for himself in memory of his first love. This is the name he uses in private and when not on missions:
You must be registered for see images
Orochimaru has a lot of underground labs dedicated to unlocking the secrets of life. There are plenty of examples of Orochimaru growing bodies from scratch in order to advance his knowledge of the workings of ninjutsu:
You must be registered for see images
My guess would be that Sarada would be the product of one such experiment. Orochimaru would have enough material from Karin to engineer a new child:
You must be registered for see images
… and not just any child but one that combines Uchiha and Senju/Uzumaki. Remember that Madara’s body during the war was one enhanced by Kabutorochimaru:

Essentially Sarada could be a clone or test tube baby, but that raises another question … is she the only one?
Damnit just how much did you know Orochimaru?:
You must be registered for see images
We know that Captain Yamato is a clone that Orochimaru one day intends to retake:
You must be registered for see images
You must be registered for see images
It’s possible that Karin herself is a clone. We don’t know who her parents are. She was supposedly taken in by Orochimaru but she seems to have no recollection of her family or knowledge of her clan. In the timeline, the first time we see Karin she is part of a team sent by Kusagakure to the Chuunin Exams:

Which is suspicious in itself because Kusagakure is where Orochimaru obtained the first skin we met him masquerading in:
Orochimaru Kusagakure

You must be registered for see images
If Yamato was a clone with no childhood memories then why couldn’t Karin be one as well? She might have been abducted during the Chuunin Exams themselves but Orochimaru has a tendency to pick kids up once they’ve had a chance to grow up a bit. She could be the product of grafting DNA onto another orphan… except instead of using the First’s DNA she might have been made using Mito’s or even Kushina’s DNA:

Orochimaru’s clone project might go even further still. Kabuto never did find out where he came from:
You must be registered for see images
He was apparently an orphan who arrived at an orphanage with no memories because of a knock to the head:
You must be registered for see images
Kabuto however exhibits the same traits as the Second… grey hair and wild intelligence. What’s more is that Tobirama was Orochimaru’s favourite Hokage. Why would he clone his second favourite and not his first:
You must be registered for see images
it’s all circumstantial but there might be one giveaway over who is a clone and who isn’t. What distinguishes Yamato from Hashirama is his spooky eyes. Despite Orochimaru’s best efforts, Yamato was never a perfect clone:

The distinguishing features of Karin and Kabuto are their glasses:

Their eyes might be closer to the originals but still not quite right. One reason why Orochimaru might need an Uchiha body instead of a cloned one is that their strength is in their eyes and the eyes were the one body part that Orochimaru was never able to duplicate.
The dodgy eyes might even be a clue to how Orochimaru was able to run rings around both Danzo and Hiruzen in order to orchestrate the Uchiha massacre. One figure in Naruto has glasses and was well placed to help Oro execute his plan to bring about the downfall of yet another clan directly descended from Kaguya:

PS Sorry for the delay on ROYGBIV part 2. I'll get back to colours soon…
It's a bit far fetched, much like the entirety of this theory, but I like the idea of seeing Sarada go through the same difficulties as Yamato and Kabuto. Kabuto is a much more interesting good guy than he is a bad guy and one of my favourite moments of the War Arc was when he stood up to his former master. He is the last remaining safeguard that Itachi left behind to protect his brother.
Naruto being too busy to play with his son in person as well as Sasuke disappearing for years on end suggest something is up in the village. I figure that Sasuke wouldn't leave his own daughter without good reason. He might leave behind a random rescued infant (to whom he has a blood connection) with Sakura and carry on his mission though.
I'm not that into shipping wars but I buy into Sasuke and Sakura as a couple. I don't think he would cheat on Sakura. He also had ample opportunity to get it on with Karin but he never took up her offers. Which makes me think Sarada might be some kind of Orochimaru breeding experiment.
If any of the above were true then the way I'd see it playing out is that Sasuke comes home and starts to play happy families alongside Sakura - making Sarada even more confused after she had just accused her mother of faking her marriage to Sasuke. Sasuke and Sakura are legit but Sarada being their daughter is not. The pair would attempt to lie to her for her own good but she already knows that something is up. Eventually Sasuke has to admit to her that she is both his daughter and not his daughter at the same time. Biologically she would be his but in terms of family that would be something that would need to be worked on.
One ship that I did want to see sail is Karin and Suigetsu. It'd stoke the drama a bit to have Sakura deny ever having given birth to Sarada and then have Karin rock up and have no idea who Sarada is either. 10 chapters seem a bit short for that sort of storyline so I'm probably barking up the wrong tree …. but the random orphans with glasses and no memories of their parents is something that smells of Orochimaru.
Blue Haired Kid?
A couple of people have suggested that Orochimaru might be the Blue Haired Kid beside Boruto in class. It’s a bit early to get overly excited by some random kid but he does have a couple of familiar features that harken back to Orochimaru.
Here’s the Blue haired Kid

This kid is clearly not Gen'yūmaru (Orochimaru’s former host) but he might belong to the clan that Orochimaru promised to set free. Gen'yūmaru only agreed to submit to Oro so long as he set his clan free:
You must be registered for see images
You must be registered for see images
Going back on his word to free Gen'yūmaru’s clan wouldn’t be the most despicable thing Oro has ever done but it would be a nice reminder of how evil he can be…. Plus the kid’s eyes seem to have a certain Orochimaru slant to them. When Oro possesses a new body the Eyes tend to be the giveaway:
Before
You must be registered for see images
After
You must be registered for see images
It's way to early to jump to any conclusions. There are plenty of fodder nin who get the odd line in this manga and the blue haired kid could be completely unimportant…. but still, Orochimaru tends to swap bodies every couple of years depending on the strength of the host. It's uncertain how long Oro could survive in a Zetsu body before needing to Transmigrate. Gen'yūmaru lasted three years before his body needed to be replaced. It would be a nice twist to have Oro training alongside Boruto. A big plank of this theory is that the orphan who grew up in Konoha under Hiruzen was simply another host rather than the original Snake.
Update* One other suggestion floating around is that the blue haired kid is a Toneri Clone. There is a definite resemblance between the Blue Haired Kid and Toneri but Toneri never had any eyes. He was born blind in the Last and had to transplant Hinabi's Byakugan in order to take control of the Tenseigan (the Green / Blue Eyes he uses in the film). If he were a Toneri Clone it would make me even more suspicious of Orochimaru's involvement but I doubt he has anything to do with Toneri.

Update** His name is Mitsuki according to promo material. It looks like he'll be part of the three man squad alongside Boruto and Sarada. The name means three months and seems to be connected to the Moon cycle (kind of like Ootsutsuki is - Strange Moon). Looks like he isn't fodder so we should be finding out a lot more about him after all.
