Time will tell. It would be amazing if Sarada turned out to be a clone that Sasuke took from Orochimaru and gave to Sakura to look after while he searches for them. It would end up with Karin and Sasuke having closure, her meeting her "daughter" and moving on.

Sasuke is permanently in the village with Sakura and Sarada. Sarada somewhere along the way managed to get 2T or 3T setting up for the Movie as a conclusion. The movie has a pregnant Sakura during the chuunin exams. and the Uchiha family are closer than ever.

This type of drama isn't like soap opra though. When I was small I watched a years' worth of soap opras and those take the cake on pointless drama.

I don't even think you need the latter, because Pairing fans are going to eat the first thing up anyways.

No they didn't need to sort things out, if Kishi just let Sasuke be a busy father and Sakura be the actual mother no one would complain and the characters would be better off.

That's why I said for 12 years he was searching for them. Maybe add that Sarada is slowly dying or something.
