She expressed that having both living, loving parents and multitudes of friends (some of which are literally willing to die for her) would literally be nothing in the face of his leaving, the same thing as being all alone, even.

Because, my dad was in the navy and was away from 6 months to couple of years...Many military families go through this process. Hell some families in other countries go through it also. Many foreigners who come to america to look for jobs sometimes have to stay here for 10+ years to get citizenship and can't see their families . Guess who raises the kids? the mother. I have too much respect for myself to blame a mother in this case, when the father is the idiotic one. Its reality... So why should i blame a woman who has raised a child by herself and loves a man because thats who she finds attractive?
