... am I the only one that isn't surprised that their life isn't a bed of roses?
Am I the only one who didn't expect Sasuke to return a year later, propose, knock her up and remain happily ever after in Konoha?

Sakura is a bad example for every young girl who is going to become like her (crazy fan will thing they get their idol in the end). That is why kishi did a good job to show us her fate by doing that and to prevent young generation become sakura vers 2

How? give a good reason.

Don't give shitty ones or excuses like Aneroin or Indra.

That shes the most influential person in konoha after Naruto?

That shes raising a kid by herself, despite that kid might not be hers?

That she loves a man and is very loyal to him?

same here, always said Sarada is Karin's spawn since i saw her in chapter 700, this Gaiden serie is gonna be short, saying it's a red herring again like narsak is pure denial.

sasusaku was always crap, it would have been OOC totally to suddenly have a perfect Sasuke daddy with a desk job in Konoha taking care of everything and all lovey dovey for the pink haired shemale.

First sasuke is the biggest idol vs young generation.
Sakura idol him ever since they were kids.
Despite of being poorly treated many times, she still idol him and waiting for him to be hers.
She has many other important thing that come to her life, but she ignored all.
Kishi had many time potrayed that is just one side love.
She has a "normal" life compare to every one else, but she doesnt treasure it (that is very opposite of Sarada).

Mental Issues/Disorders
You do know she ticks off many a box in the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders), right?
But to make it more obvious that it should already be - having read the manga and watched the anime - she has a split personality. She has chronic anger issues, volatile and excessive physically violent. She's obsessive, comes across bipolar and is unhealthy/chronically dependent.

Her entire life has revolved around Sasuke, is dependent upon him - everything she wears has the Uchiha fan, her home is covered in it and Sasuke hasn't likely stepped foot inside that house.
... it's sad, desperately so. Her behaviour reminds me of a someone I know and she's a widow.

It's not normal for your mom to destroy your house in a single punch, a punch that was done in th heat of the moment because you asked a question she didn't like.
Not in in the world of Naruto... that kind of behaviour as been relegated to two other women; Kushina and Tsunade and I don't recall either of them destroying buildings in a childish temper tantrum. That and she said "No way", she was surprised by what damage she did - with her kid a few feet away from her, that shit isn't normal - it's dangerous.
... Sakura lacks their control and self-restraint, which is saying something considering this is 10+ years post-war.
It's like she's reached her breaing point.

Again, it's just really... sad. Amusing for me to read, but sad all the same.

I was expecting Sasuke/Sakura to act like this since it's in character for them as parents. I just didn't really believe that Kishi would troll with SK when the SS fandom is so massive and popularity has been a factor in most decisions regarding this series.
