Rant/Discussion: Karin/Sarada/Sasuke/Sakura

The new gaiden chapter was pretty nice. I love Chou-chou , my favorite from the kids. And Chouji now being my new fav K11 member (besides Naruto). .


However, this chapter legitfully pissed me off as far as Sasuke goes. Nothing wrong with Karin/Sarada/Sakura.. but just Sasuke. Now i'm going to keep this in storyline, and not bring kishimoto into this until i'm done talking about the characters:

- They couldn't take a legit picture? Are you kidding me? Is Sasuke broke? Is Sakura broke? I mean they shouldn't be.

- Sasuke having a kid with Karin.... (i suppose Karin is dead or something, or something else happened)... and not having one with Sakura. This is like Vegeta being married to Bulma, and having a kid with some other girl. And then bulma raising that kid. Only 1 reasonable answer to this I can think of is , that Sakura can't have kids. But even then the dude goes and sleep with another woman.... Man ***** alert? :yeah: That just ain't cool as far as being a man goes.

- Hasn't met Sarada even once.. People call Goku a "deadbeat" father when he usually has reasonable answer for not being there.... but freaking Sasuke.. are you serious? Unless hes all the way accross the world on the opposite side.. i'm not buying this, especially after the fact they can cross a country within minutes. He just plain out sucks as a dad.


Things i liked:

- Sarada's character is nice. I like her questioning of the "what a ninja is" and the whole thing about not spending time with her dad. And telling others to do it. (Bolt is just annoying)

- Sakura.. She almost went Batsuma (Hashirama's dad) on Sarada. =D Legit respect for Sakura for raising Sarada by herself.



Conclusion:

Well kind of lost all "respect" or "liking" for Sasuke at the moment, hopefully its all justified and has a good reason. If not don't see myself liking Sasuke (idk if there are others out there with the same opinion). To me the whole Karin thing felt like Kishimoto read some fan-fic and decided to make it reality. But obviouslly planned this out so we'll see how it turns out.

WHERE MY BOY KONOHAMARU AT?! :heh: Can't wait to see him in the coming chapters. Want a good interaction between him /Naruto or him/Naruto/Sasuke.

I don't see this as dumping on Sakura tho. Imo, he created a bigger connection with those readers who grew up without knowing their dad and by a single mother. And as a result, I think that just proves how good sakura is. That in imo enhances her character.

In the novel its noted they spent time going on walks and so on. They legit dated, but couldn't take a picture. thats just dumb imo on Kishimoto.

Now 1 thing i have an issue with what you said. "shitted on Sakura's character".. how? The loan thing is probably just their new system or something that was already there in Nverse when you needed to buy a house. Shes a single mother raising a daughter, she has my respect.

The whole Sarada/Sakura connection, i'm sure there are people out there who can relate to being raised by a single mother.

I lost all respect when you said Tobirama would be beat 3rd Raikage with Kunai. Even after offering pages of scans, you continued ranting and did not provide any scans.

OT: Sasuke may not know she exists. 1) He may have hooked up with Sakura for one night, in which case Part 3 becomes Sasu Saku romance part. It would be shit. However , he cannot be blamed if he does not know she exists.
2) Sakura may have stolen his sperm and had a child. It is possible due to all her medical mastery. In this case too he would not know, so he can't be blamed.
3) He banged Sakura and he knows such a child exists. He would be deadbeat.
4) He banged Karin and does not know Sarada exists. Again not his fault
5) He banged Karin and he knows Sarada exists. He would be deadbeat.

In scenario 3 and 5, he cannot be excused even if he is busy. The guy can fudging teleport.

There are so many ways to slice this and it still comes out bad no matter what you decide.

I was in utter disbelief when someone showed me the spoiler pics.

I thought even with the obvious similarities between Sarada and Karin, Kishi wouldn't actually go so far as to entertain that shit. And then I see this shit.

And then I see Sasuke left when his daughter was a ****ing baby and hasn't been back since. Even if he "surely has checked up on his family" this does not change the fact that Sarada has grown up feeling lonely for a father she never got to know. She never got that support from him growing up. Who gives a **** if he was watching her all this time when the feelings she now has are the result? At best we are gonna see Sasuke being a dad that doesn't know what the **** to do with his own (rightfully upset) child.

Then we have Sakura... I can only say so much about this because personally I need more details on her side of things. What we have is:

• Sakura marrying Sasuke but not seeing him in over a decade
• Sakura hardly remembering what Sasuke looks like OR being a horrible liar when pinned with questions about this man
• This may be more opinion than anything on my part but her reaction to having the legitimacy of her marriage and relationship questioned by her own child was absolutely strange for someone who supposedly leads a happy life waiting for her darling hubby to get home after his long journey
• Especially her looking guilty and apologizing so quickly after throwing that fit. Wouldn't a woman be justified in being absolutely pissed about having a happy marriage brought into question so bluntly by their own child?
• & Who the hell says "I'm sure our feelings are mutual" when talking about their god damn husband if they are happily married to them?
• Sakura is probably not just a housewife if she is taking out loans for shit, so yippee that she may actually have an income
• Sakura faints easily? Since when? Since Sasuke showed up with a baby and asked her to look after it for him?
• SasuSaku doesn't even have a family photo. It's a solo picture of Sakura and another separate picture of Sasuke. The frame itself splits them up.
• So much for having a drawn out reparation of their relationship? The years Sasuke was even in Sakura's life would basically consist of something like ages 5-13, then perhaps a year or two in combining their teen and early adult years?? Then another 13 years of not seeing each other. Honestly no wonder she doesn't remember much about this man.

Yea Sakura rasing her daughter on her own is realistic and it does strengthen Sakura morally but I just cannot get past the idea that Sasuke hasn't been home for 13 years.

Honestly I think Sasuke was deliberately staying away from his child. Probably thinking with his former lifestyle and past he wouldn't be a good influence and only pass on the curse of hatred to her. So he only returns now because once his lil girl is a genin she is mature enough to handle him, his past and all flaws included.
