i liked forth gear thought it might be bad from the spoiler
but liked it
also liked that luffy can use his df and armour at the sametime

While it does look stupid to some, the idea itself is ingenious-- that is, in my opinion.


Instead of blowing air into his bones, like in Gear 3rd, he seems to inflate his muscles this time, biting directly into the skin on his forearm. Now he's a ball of muscles that can use various (animal themed) techniques. This is how I assume it works, at least.

Love it I like the design I think he looks like a Gorilla. But the power is amazing he moved so fast it was like he teleported behind Doflamingo and his pressurized attacks give insane amount of strength behind any of his attacks. And he's still able to use his stretching powers even though he's in Armament Haki mode.

But we know there's no way Doflamingo will go down that easily and I think just like with Lucci we will see 2 Gears used to defeat Doflamingo.

I can't take Luffy's Gear 4 appearance seriously. I wanted a more badass-look but at least his new moves makes up for that. Hopefully we get more explanation on how it works soon.

Also, it's weird how the strings are pushing the buildings towards the center of the bird cage. I thought the cage cuts through everything it makes contact with. Seems like that isn't the case.

I actually love gear 4th look, Luffy looks more like a threat now lol It'll seem more normal in the future to see a gear 4th size luffy to fight these bigger opponents than to see normal/gear2 size luffy fighting them.

Gear4 owned as expected. Not particularly fan of the design(too much Nightmare Luffy like) but i like the Monkey-related moves. And Luffy stole another move from Sanji. At this point i wonder what Sanji can do that Luffy can't

At first glance i thought he was in nightmare luffy mode.
But iam fine with the appearance and his strength & i loved doffy's thoughts about luffy.
But i prefer more serious look and a macho looking luffy(the dbz looks in particular).
Its my first time reading the manga while a gear was introduced,i watched the previous one's in anime.Now waiting for the anime to watch how awesome they make this gear look like.......

I wonder what the drawbacks fill be of gear 4. Luffy may become immobile for a bit afterwards or maybe his entire body becomes sore. I'd expect retracting ones limbs while they are in an inflated state comes at a risk even for a rubber man initially

Lol, yet the complain about Zoro's weekly wank is terrible. xD Every fanbase is the same when it comes to a character he likes

Though anyone who look the chapter objectively will realize that, Doflamingo is still taking Luffy's attacks fairly well. The first attack launched him a great distance but didn't break his guard. The second attack was a clean hit on his face but he still recovered quickly. He dodged Luffy's third attack, was surprised that his Hamstring was not effective(trying to understand a new mode), and Luffy's fifth attack connected.

I expect Doflamingo to use some of his stronger moves next chapter while as well showcasing the downside of G4 usage. This chapter was clearly orchestrated to showcase a new mode(G4) in all it's glory
