The reason Sasuke is not in the village

He said he is on his way of "Redemption", which means he destroys all curse marks to kill Orochimaru and ensure the safety of his clan and he thinks Sarada is safe from Orochimaru in the village. (Redemption because he is responsible for reviving Orochimaru)
Maybe he is visiting the families from the people who lost someone due to him too..
