Honestly Shikamaru should of been Jounin the moment he ended Hidan, but he's a side so you can't expect much.

Choji should as his feats in the war were godly. His dad choza is a jonin yet he could not go butterfly mode without dying , choji took a dump on the concept and is now able to insta-gg anyone who dares to call him fatso lol so choji should surely be jonin as he would neg his jonin father in a fight.

Hinata fought frontline with Neji and took over recon duty after Neji collapsed from oversusing his Byakugan. Hinata also took charge of a group of shinobi, while Naruto recovered (prior to Minato showing up). Let's not forget the TnJ she used on Naruto, deflecting the Juubi Spikes away from him and fixed his shoulder.

Kiba and Shino blitzed Juubi clones and white zetsus.

Shikamaru being promoted makes sense. Sakura making jonin makes no sense. As a jonin she is qualified to lead genin. What's she going to do, teach them her cry no jutsu and rescue me no jutsu?

As for Naruto, technically he should've been made jonin after creating the rasenshuriken. Recall Kakashi made jonin because he creating the chidori when he was a kid. That's all it took. Add in Naruto learning Sage Jutsu, saving the village from Pein (with no casualties), mastering KCM, his escapades in the war (saving the entire Shinobi alliance at least 10x), sealing Kaguya and stopping Sasuke from executing the Gokgae. Yeah... Naruto still sporting genin rank is BS.
