Alright new Rper explain the Lightning element to me and focus on usages, users of the element, also what types of properties it has and effects it has. Go into detail don't be lazy, pretend I know nothing about lightning.

Anything you miss I'll enlighten you with details maybe...

The element lightning is one of the five basic elements of chakra based releases. Lightning is used when a individual performs a certain series of hand symbols to which lightning will spark within ones self, surging through the user and eventually emitting from the body to form a jutsu, However some situation may be different when the user may focus there chakra some where else like the sky to then form a lightning above to simulate actual storms. Some jutsu's may cause rain or a explosion at some point, perhaps if the user creates lightning in the sky it may also create rain to fall or if the lightning hit a certain object like a exploding seal/ exploding kunai it may cause the object/item to active, However there are other options similar to this, in conjunction there is ''Storm release'' and ''Explosion Release''.

Lightning is greater than earth because lightning is strong enough and sharp enough to cut/break through rock easily. Lightning can surpass wind but in common situations lightning is weaker to wind However if the vibration frequency of the lightning is high enough it can be more destructive then wind, Although i know little there is to know about vibration frequencies. Lightning is strong against water because water is a sponge to which it may absorb the lightning and travel along side its currents, This method is very effective against water release users, Although it may bite you back if your not careful. Lightning may also be imbued into a weapon to enhance its power, However like every jutsu this method uses chakra.

The major people who use lightning release is the raikage or anyone from the kumogakure village, However stray shinobi are seen using this release as well.

ok, I get it. I understand, Water counters fire, Wind counters lightning. Nature manipulation increase the jutsu but in this case the chidori, Using both shape and manipulation increases it even more with range and power. Am i ready for the next lesson, Sensei?

While ''points'' i figure you mean the definition that pin points detail or description, Hence forth i will follow up with this comment: While reading this fully it makes it difficult to find positive points within this jutsu when the description given is so vague, However if anything positive comes out of this jutsu it would have to be its range, A short range D-rank lightning release is a very good thing to learn regardless of its power.

- Negative points of this technique
First off, the description is vague, where are the bolts coming from, what shape are they, what use are they originally, where are they coming from. The Range is good, However in conjunction to the open ended description it would more then likely be assumed to carry in a long distance, Although it says Short - Mid I think it would've been more logical to have it Mid - Long in accordance to the description.

- Combinations/Elemental usages
This technique can be combined with water dragon jutsu to make a joint elemental dragon that not only does water damage but does lightning, This D-rank jutsu will proceed to a new level to perhaps if strong enough may become a A-rank jutsu.

- How to counteract the move
In conjunction to the move i mentioned above the water can counteract fire if the opponent does fire, and the lightning can counter act earth if the opponent uses earth release the lightning can cut through the earth to make a path for the dragon and the water can shield the lightning from fading. Like yin and yang they are different but the same, helps one another but doesn't at the same time.

- What your opinion is on the move
It is a pretty relevant jutsu for the novice over all.

The previous struggle was great, however it wasn't too late for me, shifting my stance and performing a series of certain hand symbols needed the chakra flow increased within me which surged throughout my body. Using Nature manipulation to increase the power and settle the jutsu in place, then performing shape manipulation to form them into bolts, finally performing the last hand symbol to active the jutsu to which causes the bolts to shoot forward at the opponent.

(added a long description and added steps to give it the feel of my character using the jutsu for the first time as a genin.)

It doesn't require any handsigns just nature manipulation and discharge.

First off, the description is vague, where are the bolts coming from, what shape are they, what use are they originally, where are they coming from. The Range is good, However in conjunction to the open ended description it would more then likely be assumed to carry in a long distance, Although it says Short - Mid I think it would've been more logical to have it Mid - Long in accordance to the description. short to mid range is quite a distance. It is I believe 5 meters short and 10 meters to mid range so that's decent space.
Also use it from your hands you or you could do a kicking motion with your feet sending it from your foot. Get creative they have vague description so add creativeness to it.

- Combinations/Elemental usages
This technique can be combined with water dragon jutsu to make a joint elemental dragon that not only does water damage but does lightning, This D-rank jutsu will proceed to a new level to perhaps if strong enough may become a A-rank jutsu. partially correct as it requires yin yang to use two elements at the same time you won't be turning it into an electric water dragon. More so that your water dragon will be sent out and you will follow up with lightning.

- How to counteract the move
In conjunction to the move i mentioned above the water can counteract fire if the opponent does fire, and the lightning can counter act earth if the opponent uses earth release the lightning can cut through the earth to make a path for the dragon and the water can shield the lightning from fading. Like yin and yang they are different but the same, helps one another but doesn't at the same time. Think of it like this say your enemy uses this. C rank earth which you can use D rank lightning to counter a C rank earth as long as it's logical. Also lightning and fire are neutral so most times they will pass through each other unless they explode on contact. Most will state exploding capabilities if they have them.


- What your opinion is on the move
It is a pretty relevant jutsu for the novice over all. watch for jutsu which don't do damage these are critical when you are actually trying to harm your enemy not defend. Also make sure you pay attention to the ranges some are specific to a range for example a jutsu that is Mid rang usage only

Now I've bolded a few points in the quote and would like to also add that some techniques just require manipulation making them faster to get off in some cases. Use your hands feel the vibration and raw energy of lightning chakra. Build it up then fire it off and a note most times when it does not say a limit to how many of something is made keep it to one to maintain power.

Try performing the jutsu again please. Pay attention to where my clone is placed.

Makes a shadow clone and directs the clone to your left 9 meters away. The clone begins throwing little stones at you.

looks towards the left to see a clone of sensei throwing rocks at me 9 meters away, knowing that my mid range attack can reach up to 10 it was only logical to stay where i was. The Lightning surged throughout my body, focusing the chakra to my left hand i raise it towards the clone of sensei then releasing the surge of lightning outwards from my palm to which the lightning would form into small bolts and separate from each other, flying towards the incoming rock to then eventually connect with them causing the small rocks to disintegrate. The bolts of lightning flew through the now small dust cloud that once was solid rocks and towards the clone of sensei which will soon connect to cause the clone to disappear.

Description: The user will concentrate their chakra and slam their hand on the ground to release a surge of lightning across the ground to the opponents feet to shock them.

This one gives a little better detail and is quite simple.

The clone of sensei had appeared once more again 9 meters away, it was time to use another jutsu that he learned and so he bent his knees and touched the ground, sending a surge of lightning throughout the ground that then reached eventually to the clone causing the clone to get shocked and disappear.

Its more effective then the last one and i suppose it can reach a wider area of the user for the sacrifice of range which is good sometimes..

its short, maybe its range can be increased some how?

I have no idea.. honestly, not saying this because i'm lazy.

Could use it if a rock release jutsu was coming from the ground.

- What your opinion is on the move
effective in some situations, needs to be used when needed instead of all the time.

The jutsu previously failed to activate, however now with the new found knowledge of the jutsu Kazuhiro can now perform it correctly. Swiftly moving to the right avoiding anything that would be thrown at him he would roll then flip towards the clone of sensei and while in mid air he channels the chakra to his palms then focusing the lightning to release out of my palms, landing on the ground the lightning surged and traveled out from my palms and into the ground that reached to the clone causing the clone to be shocked and disappear.

I have no idea.. honestly, not saying this because i'm lazy. you could pair it with an earth jutsu why because some earth jutsu you have to touch the ground with your hands as well. Making this a good combo as you can go from one to the other, lightning then earth.

- How to counteract the move
Could use it if a rock release jutsu was coming from the ground. well what you did in your move was lengthy, although creative being mid air and then touching the ground with your hands leaves openings for an attack. Maybe if you toss a few Kunai as well it would lessen the chance of being one shotted.

- What your opinion is on the move
effective in some situations, needs to be used when needed instead of all the time.

This jutsu is by far the most effective jutsu so far, it covers a wide range regardless of how long it reaches.

- Negative points of this technique
I cant really think of any

- Combinations/Elemental usages
could be used with wind techniques for its already wavy form, however wind might not work all the time so i might say perhaps water as well, perhaps the already wavy form of this jutsu may combine with a water current that is in the form of a wave similar to its own shape.

- How to counteract the move
Attack from the top,bottom, and or behind.

- What your opinion is on the move.

Kazuhiro extends his arm downward then focusing his chakra to his palm which causes the lightning to surge throughout his arm, swinging his arm forward towards the clone the lightning bursted from the palm that created a wave formation that reached to the clone, causing the clone to be shocked and disappear.

That will work yes remember the notes on it though for usages as well. While you could evade with this in mid air, and creating a dust cloud to conceal you evasions is a good idea. Using something to deflect the lightning and will keep pushing forward would be more beneficial. The reasoning is that you want to keep pressure on your enemy not letting up, and forcing them to make there own mistakes.


Anywho make another thread for a different element and we'll start today and come back to this when your at a higher rank.
