I remember in the marineford when somebody noted that Blackbeard himself was not human after consuming two devil fruits.

I believe that he is the son of clipso and a "D," that died some point after Roger's golden era.

What do you think?

Interesting Theory

Might be possible
Considering Poseiden, pluton, and Uranus being presented by Oda I figure such assumption is possible.

Even Buggy mentioned something about captain john's treasure or Davy jones locker (not clear on which one).

So I'm gonna use pirates of the Caribbean logic here and say "Clipso," sea god (whatever it is) will make its appearence.

For starters infracted because for some weird reason you found it necessary to insult people from the get-go, resulting in your theory becoming even less baseless than it already was, for so far that was possible, by provoking people who might not agree.

Secondly it's Calypso, not clipso. Auto correct or not, you can always change it.

Thirdly Poseidon and Uranus are figures from Greek mythology. Pluton from Roman mythology. On top of that they were all high gods and in OP they are the only three ancient weapons. Calypso is a low level figure from Greek mythology and there are hundreds like her in Greek mythology, so there is absolutely nothing special about her to assume she has got anything to do with this. Even more so that Pluton is a ship and Poseidon a mermaid with a special ability, but as far as we know they are still "normal". I don't see how this is supposed to be related to BB having a weird body. Especially because Oda used Greek mythology as inspiration for other characters and themes which do not have any particular connection to this all either.

Fourthly captain John was as far as we know simply a famous pirate. One of the general zombie's on Thriller Bark was named John and confirmed to have been a famous pirate. It's also there that Luffy found the treasure mark. How this somehow is relevant to this all, is a completely mystery to me.

Fifthly Davy Jones was mentioned during the Davy Back fight and the Davy Jones lore is something that predates the POTC franchise, it's not something they created, they only gave a new version of the story for entertainment purposes. So again I really do not understand how this is even remotely relevant.

Sixthly Marco said that BB's body was atypical. Whatever he meant has so far not been clarified nor have we gotten any additional info on the matter.

Conclusion: everything you just said was baseless and completely random. Your supposed "logic" is void of any kind of logic.

Pretty much everything Caliburn said. Calypso isn't that notable a figure in Greek mythology; she doesn't really stand out in any way nor was she referenced in the actual story to hint that she'd be involved in anyway. That means there's nothing about Teach himself that actually connects to the mythology of Calypso, so how you saw a connection between them is beyond me.

Uhmmmm since when were Nymphs involved in One Piece?
It's an assumption I made after putting the ancient thee weapons into perceptive.

I'm asking for a thumbs up if you think this theory is possible off the bases of Blackbeard being called "not human," after consuming two devil fruits.

It's a theory thread not a factual one, its irritating and piteful that some people cannot tell that difference between each type of thread.

Making their spiteful rant futile as ever.(not directed towards you but this thread as a whole)

The second post of this thread is the only guy to pay attention.

Just tell me if you agree or not.

Lol so if someone posts that they agree, they're paying attention, but if someone posts that they don't agree and why, they're not paying attention and can't tell the difference between fact and theory? The only spiteful post here is this one, man. If anything those of us that disagreed paid the most attention.

I can see why Nymphs would be incorporated... if only there weren't at least 1000 named Sea nymphs, 1000 named Sky nymphs and 1000 named nymphs of the underworld...

Not really the number of nymphs. There have to be just as many lore on zombies, giants, dwarves, mermaids, ghosts, etc, and Oda still incorporated them. The issue is why Calypso? Why this specific nymph out of all the thousands? Why would she be related to Teach? Why would she take the form of a human as opposed to nymphs; just because Varia watching POC gave him the thought ¨Ooo Calypso!¨?

Calypso is a massive feminist extremist (ya know.... one of those after gender superiority) misandrist ******... could be related to Teach, they're both d1ckheads.

Nymphs look like people though, so there's no distinguishing between them... the only difference is they're like immortal and have about the same extent of power in their element as a water/air bender (i.e they're like... sh1t compared to an Ancient weapon)

Oh I didn't know that, I thought they were small creatures because of the name.

Eh, there's plenty of massive dickheads in OP, and not related to Teach. For some reason, if there is a Calypso figure, I see her being an anti-hero to the Strawhats; like Ruby in Supernatural.
