That case is different. Garra's soul was in the pure/spirit world where it was free. So, it was summoned back by Chiyo's life force.

In Orochimaru's case, the soul of his hands was in a prison, the RDS's belly. The only way to get the soul was to destroy the Prison, i.e; cut the RDS's Belly. There is no way you can free the soul without the RDS, so complete restoration is not possible.

The same way Edo Tensei cannot summon the soul from the RDS's belly, so Hokage Edo Tensei's were not possible until the souls in question were freed from the RDS's belly.

The only way to completely restore Orochimaru's arms without the RDS is by making his soul out of nothing, which is Creation of all Things. Only Naruto and Sasuke can restore Orochimaru's arms in the manga's context as both got Hagoromo's chakra and by extension Creation Of All Things.

Or Orochimaru could get replacement arms by switching bodies and using the vessel's soul for his hands, which is what he does to use Ninjutsu.

The "another/other way" was the RDS Route. He was perhaps experimenting Tsunadae's method and looking backwards with Part 2 in consideration, Tsunadae's attempts to heal his arms would have been a failure.

She wouldnt get the soul of the arms back. She would restore them, replace them. I dont know how it would work but its would work.

She created an arm out of Hashirama's cells. Kabuto with Tobirama's help saved Sasuke.

And Sakura accumalated and mastered Tsnade's techniques at the age of 17.. an adult Sakura with all of Tsunade's knowledge and techniques is going to simply build upon them and continue.


You can only show him doing stuff to genetically change him. They don't even have regeneration (highest form of medical ninjutsu) without the snake's automatic ability or karin's dna. Needed to go to Tsunade to heal his arms.

her heart isnt someone elses kabuto can not only do that but even liquefy his own body. tobirama didnt do anything he just sat there and told him to use hashiramas cells as if he wasnt going to do it anyway. lee only had some bone fragments on his spine removing those is nothing compaired to repairing a heart of a dying man especially since hearts are organs that cant be repaired.

Essentially the same thing as putting Hashirama's DNA on Dazno. Tsunade was able to create a arm and attach it to Naruto, its a perfect arm as it didnt even have Hashirama's face and didnt constantly need to be restrained.

Bold are not assumptions, they are facts. If it's not true, it goes against what was established by Kishi in Part 2 and becomes a plothole. The RDS thing was supported by Orochimaru, Kabuto (The major players mind you) and the whole plot revolved around it.

The only way Tsunadae can restore the arms without the soul is by Creation of all things or Rinne Tensei. As far as the manga goes, she can do neither.

They won't . They don't merge other shinobi into themselves, against the core principal of what they practice. But can they? yes. Why? regeneration via pure medical skills.
