Guess this is going to be it... we're going to fight anyway in the tournaments, so why not just get it over with![]()
Terrain: Glass plain field.
Panthalassa walked across the strange field, hesitantly stepping with great care. This was weird, and he wasn't sure what he as seeing. Maybe his glasses were a bit dirty.
Is this... a Glass plain field
He rubbed his eyes, and slowly the glass turned into grass, and he could see the terrain for what it was. Thin pointed blades of green razing his ankles, his boots sinking down on the slightly soggy soil of the early dew. The sun had barely risen, and even the great Foggy Mountains in front of them seemed to be bursting with life, as the fauna of the water country woke with the first lights that pierced the mist. He had came from the breeding colonies near the periphery of the thick forest, but, before reaching the heart of the city, there were still long ranges of swamp land or, like this one, long ranges of grass land.
It was through the thin, but ever-present mist, even if it was hardly noticeable anymore, that he spotted the masked man. At first Pantha did not recognize him. He was wearking an Anbu mask and that was more than enough reason to leave him alone. But then his tall but lean stature, the long and wild hair and, especially, the thin and sharp sword, revealed his identity.
That was the man that had brought Moofy to Kiri. They had never met personally, but his friend had talked about him, after much coercion from Panthalassa. Deep down, while they relation was cold, Moofy was grateful. Panthalassa felt like he should show some gratitude himself, but now, face, to face (or mask), he wasn't entirely sure.
Hey friend!
Strong start... the man was not his friend.
I mean... my name is Panthalassa...

What a waste of time.
Revealing himself from the misty terrain, the Uchiha wears a Konoha ANBU mask and the corresponding uniform with a katana strapped at the back. (Doujutsu: Sharingan) Eye Technique: Copy Wheel Eye
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30 (-10 per turn to keep active)
Damage: N/A
Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.
Note: Danzo and Kakashi bios activate the Sharingan by removing the covers in their respective eyes and suffer a +10 chakra consumption per turn penalty
Note: The user is bound by the abilities and limits of the stage of sharingan he possesses, stated in the rules of the KG.
(Sakki) - Killing Intent
Rank: D - S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: N/A
Description: Killing Intent pertains to the ability of the user giving off their pure killing intention and having it affect their opponent and others around them up to the point of paralyzing them. When the Killing Intent is particularly strong, it can even give the victim visions of their own gruesome death, nausea, pain, etc. This can cause the Killing Intent to be confused with a genjutsu, despite not being a genjutsu at all; simply a showcase of intention and power. The target will feel as if facing an overwhelming enemy and, even if not a sensor, will suddenly feel the pressure of the users chakra and its magnitude, making the effect that much more dramatic. To effectively be used, the user needs to focus on his target and concentrate on the killing intent towards it, meaning that one must see the target and be focused on it. The strength of the Killing Intent is dependent on many factors and go through several levels. If a difference in rank smaller than 2 ranks exist, the enemy will feel only the pressure and the ominous presence of their dark intentions. Its enough to lose your grasp on a weapon or stay clinched to it (depending on the situation) or even to hesitate in an attack, stumble or mess up a handseal, all depending on the situation and proximity. The effect is small and normally not that significant but can be effectively used to pressure enemies into making a mistake. If a difference of 2 ranks or more exist, the enemy will be frozen, almost unable to move as the overwhelming killing intent dominates their own conscious and riddles them with nightmarish versions of death. The paralyzation gradually weakens as time passes and can only be maintained while the user is focused on the target. The further away the target, the weaker it is and it can only fully paralyze a target within short range. Similarly, the more targets one focuses on, the weaker the effect is in each one (divinding the effects equally between the number of targets). Lastly, the stronger the user is in relation to the target, the stronger the effect will be. The target can counter Killing Intent directed at it through pain, "mind cleansing" techniques or their own Killing Intent.
Note: Intensity of technique depends on the rank of the user, distance to target and number of targets one is focusing on
Note: Can only be used once
Note: Lasts only while the user is focusing on it and while focusing on it the user can't mold chakra
It was an early morning, Kushimaru had just left from the ANBU headquarters are having handed in all his paper work from his latest mission. It was a job he hated doing, well the paper work anyways. Kushimaru loved coming back from missions with stains of blood from his target's sewed bodies. He began to travel north west towards the edge of the city, having to pass by the Foggy Mountains. He worked without a care in the world, cool and collected however nothing to be seen behind the cover of his rock hard ANBU mask. Kushimaru stopped on his tracks as he saw a man with purple hair at a distance. "Hey friend!" The man in front of him had yelled out. Kushimaru continued to walk forward after hearing the man speak.
I don't care what your name is, get lost.
Apologies, my friend. For stealing this thread, I missed the [Closed] tag, and now for declining this challenge. I'd be honoured to fight you on a different thread and some other time, to excuse for this. Either with Moofy or on my own. But now I would like to fight Moofy alone. Hope you understand
He can't say he didn't expect it, but it still surprised him nonetheless. Panthalassa turned as the man ignored him. Any doubts he had about the man were cleared, but not in a good way. Despite whatever gratitude Moofy would show him, this man did not deserve it in the least.
Moofy looks up to you. Izaku I mean. But you don't deserve it. To the swamp with his gratitude. I'm sure you only saved him because they paid you well, demons of the mist have no honour to be had.
It wasn't in Pantha's heart to be mean. But this man was one of the masked assassins. The same masked assassins that had pissed all over his father. Panthalassa remembered the beatings and the humiliation as the demons would patrol the backlog streets like royalty, caring about no one. Seeing his friend showing so much respect for one of them was almost unbearable. He was scared, but he would not back down, he never did.
There was no need to wear a mask now. Panthalassa had a genuine serious expression, as he defiantly glared at the man behind his back.
You shame the Seven by wearing that Mask.
"But you don't deserve it."
Kushimaru was both irked and fired upon once the man in front of him had said those words. Kushimaru was a ruthless person who would kill another on a whim. However, he did owe Izaku for what he had done for him. Though his ego was too high for him to fully acknowledge it, at least publicly. Kushimaru turned his head towards the Kiri-nin and began to walk swiftly towards him, getting up close as he extended his right hand and grabbed the man's collar. He would then push up on the collar, lifting the man slightly off his feet and causing him to be on his toes.
You know nothing, so it's best you be quiet if you know what's good for you.
"You shame the Seven by wearing that Mask."
Kukukukukuku!!! Shame? You know nothing about the seven, you shouldn't speak so lightly of us.
Panthalassa was a master of his emotions. That wasn't true, but he willed it to be, it had to be. He willed his mind to forget how nervous he was at the confrontation, how fear was tingling down his back as the assassin approached. How cold his spine felt and how far his heart sank, as his body was lifted and the man's gazed burnt through his own mask.
He willed it, because, regardless of how inexperienced, or how weak he might me, he was still a Shinobi of the Mist, and, mmost of all, because he was fighting for his friend, regardless of how misplaced his intentions could be in the long run. His eyebrows bent over the bridge of his nose, scrunching together as his face hardened with focused anger, with the will to defend himself and his friend.
Gripping the hand that held him upwards, he strengthen his abdomen and pulled his legs upwards, throwing all his weight on the man's back, to tumble him forward. Pantha's right foot would come from inside the assassin's guard, striking him in under the chin before moving over his left shoulder and outwards. Pantha's left foot would go over the man's right shoulder and outwards, making sure all of his weight was on the top of the man's torso and right arm, so he would surely tumble forward and fall, breaking his balance.
I know plenty!
Unbeknownst to the assassin, I would assume, several of Panthalassa's Parasitic Destruction Bugs would willingly travel from under his clothes towards his opponent's. They would invade the man's arm where Pantha had his grip on it, beneath the man's gloves, and then from Pantha's legs directly into the man's collar and vest. They wouldn't do anything for now, except spread indiscriminately and discretely across the man's body.
Kushimaru suddenly felt great pressure on his back as he naturally leaned forward due to the sudden change. The weight of the target had suddenly increased as he withdrew himself from the surface of the ground. Instinctively Kushimaru didn't fight it back, instead he allowed his body to fall forward. In that same fluid motion, he would forcefully bring his right hand in towards him, thus bringing the man closer to him at an attempt to perform a head-butt with his hard mask as Kushimaru also pushed his head forward, most definitely injuring the man's nose if not dealt with appropriately. This would cause the man's rising/arc'ing legs to go past Kushimaru's shoulders. As they both fell forward, Kushimaru shifted his hand's grip and grabbed the neck area as he transferred all of his falling weight onto that hand and motion. Whilst falling, he would push off the ground slightly, allowing him to flip forward, using the man's neck as a means to balance himself on the ground as he flipped forward, inevitably placing great pressure on the neck, causing the target great difficulty to breathing. Just as the flip was initiated, he pushed off the ground, which in turn was the man's neck, launching himself forward slightly as he readjusted his body in mid "flight" facing the opponent once more. Kushimaru stayed quite as he looked towards the target with some blood dripping down the center of his mask. (If undefended.)
His opponent's motion was blunt and daring, but it wasn't the most correct one. As the assassin pulled him closer, Pantha forced his hip up, holding on to the man's leg, and then crossed his right foot under his left ankle, accommodating the man's leg under the curve of the inside of his right knee. With the lock in place, even though the man went for the headbutt, he would only choke between his own right shoulder and Pantha's right knee, pressing his artery and cutting circulation to the brain, Panthalassa's head out of reach, arching back and to the left.
He allow himself to fall flat on his back, a pillow of insects gathering underneath the back of his shirt to cushion the fall. There's a roughly pillar structure formed from his back, though short-lived as it serves it's function as support and not offence. With the impact cushioned, there was no damage to be held that could have jolted his lock and provide a wiggle room for his opponent to free himself. Landing softly on his back, he was able to carry on his grip, choking the conciousness out of the man.
(Mushi Bashira no Jutsu) - Insect Pillar TechniqueRank: D
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 20
Description: The user will turn themselves into a pillar that will then be directed to strike the opponent before returning to their normal form.
Note: Must be a member of the Aburame clan.
If the assassin tried to shift his hand, looking for Pantha's neck, it would only weaken his own grip, permitting pantha to will it out of him, and take full control of it. In close combat, the free-moving kikaichu would have an almost unlimited path to cover the fallen man. Wrapping tightly around the whole body, they now held him in place, preventing the man from moving his leg to get leverage, creating a force-bodysuit underneath the man's clothes, in what could be described as a Medium Sized Hold, 40 damage, while sucking him dry of chakra ( 14 per turn ), which would only fasten the loss of consciousness.
(Kikaichuu) - Destruction BugRank: D
Type:Attack/Defense/Supplementary
Range:Short-Long
Chakra Cost:-14 form opponent if the bugs have a hold of him/her(-10 per turn to feed the bugs)
Damage Points:20-80 depends on the jutsu
Description:The user summons a host of bugs form there very own body. This justu does not require any chakra sense the bugs do all the work.
Damage Calculation:Small holds=20, Medium Holds=40,Large Holds=60,Super Large Holds=80
NOTE:Must be a member of the Aburame Clan or be taught by a member of the Aburame Clan.
His attempt had backfired as Kushimaru was now placed in a choke hold. The pressure being built on his neck didnt allow him to successfully mold water techniques that were expelled from there, and thus Kushimaru utilized the extended hand that was going to be used to grab the neck of the individual in order to release a powerful jet of water that would strike the target directly on their face, pushing their hand backs, putting pressure on the neck. Moments later Kushimaru would utilize that strike to his advantage as he tweaked his wrist to the left side of the target's face, aiming directly at the ground in order to propel himself away from the choke hold. (I assume that the sudden strike to the face would give me some leeway to force my way out of the hold.)
(Suiton: Suihachi) – Water Release: Hand of waves
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: the user will produce a fairly powerful jet of water from the user's hand.
As he is launched backwards, Kushimaru ends up crashing against the ground as he finds himself unable to move his body, being restrained. In addition to the forceful restraining, he felt several things crawling throughout his entire body, underneath his clothing. After having seen the blanket of bugs that had aided his target, Kushimaru began to analyze the situation at hand. At an attempt to rid himself of the bugs, Kushimaru materialized water beneath him and created a sphere of water before taking a deep breath. He would encase himself in a prison that would aim to loosen the grip as well as drown the bugs. Kushimaru would maintain the technique activated as he looked directly towards his target.
(Suiton: Funshutsu Mizu Kinko) - Water Release: Gushing Water Imprisonment
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates a flow of gushing water under the opponent which traps them in a sphere of water. The user can perform an attack while the opponent is trapped. This jutsu is similar to Water Prison Technique, though the user doesn't need to keep his arm in the sphere of water.
Note: Technique creates its own water source
Panthalassa only too notice of the hand when it was too late. His opponent didn't need to actually grip his collar with his free hand to be a threat, and that realization caught Panthalassa like a jet of water to the face. Technically, because that was what happened. Although the angle wasn't right for any permanent damage, but, by shifting his body to protect his neck and get hit in the chest instead, he allowed his opponent enough room to wiggle out of the choke, and push himself off.
On his back, Pantha looked to his opponent, dealing with the insect wrap by encasing himself into a bubble of water, keeping a menacing glare all the while. Panthalassa squeezed his eyes and pushed the corner of his mouth in a gestured snarl, as he bit his left hand thumb and, performing one handseal, he touched the tattoo on his right forearm.
( Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Mushi Torikae ) Summoning Technique: PhoresyType: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points. N/A
Description: This is a summoning technique available only to Aburame clansmen. This is because Phoresy utilizes the natural chakra connection between the insects and the host to produce the medium through which the user can perform the Summoning ritual. The user will perform one handseal and any handseals required to summon the target animal(s), and create an aggregation of insect, or infuse the chakra into any aggregation of the insects, anywhere within range. Phoresy will simultaneously summon the animal or group of animals towards the exact place where the insects were aggregated, and reverse the insects themselves onto the swapped animal's realm. The user is allowed to skip the aggregation step in case the animals summoned are part of an Aburame-beffited swarm, such as specialized insects or insect animal contracts. The user is able to swap his own species of insects with any available insect type ( Cannon Aburame insects or custom insects that the user owns ). Once the technique reaches it's limit, the insects are immediately swapped again.
Note: All of the user's insects are swapped, whether they were aggregated, spread around or inside the host's body.
Note: Phoresy lasts the same amount of turns as stated in the target technique, or the default 4 turns when nothing is stated.
Note: Can't use Phoresy to swap the user's insects for the Secret Rinkaichu, the Parasitic Nano Bugs, as those are restricted to Torune and Shikuro bios.
Note: Can only be used 4 times per battle.
And, in a burst of smoke that made bubbles shoot out within the sphere of water, covering the assassin's sight within his self-made prison, all the Kikaichu turned into Aqua devorus, before they could drown. Water Gluttons can't drown, and, from around the Masked man's bubble-filled water, they agglomerated once again.
( Hae Kuchiyose ♆ Stoicheo****idae ) Fly Summoning ♆ Beelphegor’s Gluttonous ImpsType: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The Stoicheo****idae are a family of flies that evolved by feeding from elemental chakra, adapting their own chakra and body to one of the basic elemental nature. They are summoned as either a swarm of 666 flies or a giant bull sized fly, without costing a move or chakra. They are innately resistant to the effects of the elemental nature that gives them their name, thus they are, like Aburame Bugs, strong against Raw Chakra and Wood-like Elements and weak against Elemental Chakra, here with the exception of one Basic Element. When in aggregated form, the giant fly is considered B rank. When in swarm form, they take the rank of the Aburame Technique manipulating it. These abilities come from chakra and body specializations, and not from elemental affinities of their own, for all effects and purposes, the Gluttons are unable to use the element they're named after, even if the user happens to have affinity or training in it.
( Flamma devorus ) Fire Gluttons, have spiked exoskeletons that can withstand extreme heat and lay eggs in open fires and ashes.
( Aqua devorus ) Water Gluttons, have hydrophobic hairs, can breath underwater and ingest a quantity of water several times their volume.
( Terra devorus ) Earth Gluttons, have thick carapaces and angular bodies, capable of withstanding the highest pressure and burrow underground.
( Tonitrum devorus ) Lightning Gluttons, have microscopic hairs that resist high currents and heat, and live near power outlines or high energy currents.
( Ventus devorus ) Wind Gluttons, have hard exosqueletons and thin blade like bodies capable of resisting drag, shredding or slashing.
Note: Gluttons are strong against Raw Chakra, Wood and alike Elements and the one Basic Element they are named after.
Note: Gluttons are weak against all other Elemental Natures, Basic and Advanced.
Note: Each technique summons 666 individual great flies, which can aggregate into 1 bear sized fly.
Note: Can only summon up to 1 species of Gluttons per usage.
Note: The flies can't use elemental techniques, they are not elemental summons.
Note: They can only last 4 turns in battle, or until they are killed.
Note: Can't use forbidden Aburame Techniques with the Gluttons.
Note: Can only be used in 1 Aburame Technique at a time.
There aren't just bubbles covering his sight, but also great flies, swimming around with their inherent chaotic path and speed, just as we learned to associate with actual flies. Even through the water, their buzzing his deafening, as they beat their wings all around the water source. This motion has several purposes. The first, enveloping you in even more blinding obstacles, that take away your sense of vision. The buzzing would take away your sense of hearing. Their multiple mandibles biting through your flesh would take away your sense of touch and damage you. The motion of the flies within the water would create a current that swirls you around, taking away your sense of direction and balance. And, finally, they would be sucking your chakra with every bite.
(Tsumu Hensei no Jutsu) - Spindle Formation TechniqueRank: B

Description: The user has his bugs attack the target in a spiraling motion to confuse the target.
Note: Must be a member of the Aburame clan.
The damage and chakra absorption follow this technique, for reference. I would say the hold keeps being a Medium Sized grip, 40 damage.
(Kikaichuu) - Destruction BugRank: D
Type:Attack/Defense/Supplementary
Range:Short-Long
Chakra Cost:-14 form opponent if the bugs have a hold of him/her(-10 per turn to feed the bugs)

Damage Calculation:Small holds=20, Medium Holds=40,Large Holds=60,Super Large Holds=80
NOTE:Must be a member of the Aburame Clan or be taught by a member of the Aburame Clan.
In the meantime, after summoning the flies, Pantha would kick himself off the ground and move to the left, circling the water dome but keeping a greater distance, edging short range. He would not allow his opponent to fixate one place to direct his attacks to, even though the spindle of insects would take away his aim, even if he had one place he wanted to aim.
Considering your bugs were already encased around my body like an armor, even if I defended from this, I don't think I would stay alive for too long, if I follow what you said about biting my flesh off. So I will have to give you the win, awesome job with the bug techniques! ^_^
Ooh... thanks man! But I'm sure the bites won't be instant death, they're small flies... You can disperse the flies with an A rank Water technique, or any C rank technique of any other element.
The fact that you would mention that offends me :[
