It's not about his physical involvement, but what Kishi said about it.

For example: he was involved in both RTN and The Last, yet, only The Last was canon because Kishimoto confirmed it as canon while he didn't do that with RTN.

Also, it is cheesy why they made that "Timeline" table between chapter 699 and chapter 700.

I like the part of this novel where Hinata gets easily defeated by Sakura in a practice match and Hinata asks Sakura to train her. A lot of the K11 girls look up to Sakura now since she's far superior to all of them combined. It's pretty cute.
