[2] Ps would easily tank their regular Bijuudama's or grab them either way suffices.

How come? He never tried to for one and Obito was using it there is nothing suggesting he can't summon the Gedo Mazo though he is dead that might be the only reasonable argument anyone could come up with.​

It was outright stated an artificial Rinnegan is incapable of using the Outer Path ability, he cannot summon the Mazo without at least one real Rinnegan.
