(Wrote so many serious poems. Consider this an interlude I guess. xD, Wrote this in like 3 minutes)
Dear Childhood
Lord, Lord things just not like they used to be man
Rebuttal: Dad you’re insane.
fast forward a few years and I'm thinking the same
The only thing constant in this world is change
Dear Santa, I know you're missing
just a legend for the children
make an exception just for me
and put presents under my tree
Someone save me, from the monster in my closet
when the floor was hot and cracks were toxic
me and the boogieman play tag all night
then help the power rangers go and fight
to protect my dreams, just take me away
to this freedom we used to call "play"
a 9 to 5 is how I spend my days
imagination behind caution tape
amazing things we used to say
so impatient we were those days
I could travel the world in my backyard
that's tall grass and now call me ash, meet my charzard
over 150 its what they told me
Is that digimon or is that poke-
mon? Well I don't mind, I'll just get them both

the coast is clear, my toys are alive?!

My mom could never ever tell a lie
and umbrellas really make you fly?
Girls had cooties and boys were dirty
(wait that still might be the same, I spoke too early)
SO many things I wish I could remember them all
Megaman X infinity waiting at the mall
but I can't get it because I work today
I'll say its for my nephew but we'll both play. xD
