In the War Arc,Sasuke was belittling Sakura at times so of course she would try to get him to at least acknowledge her.He had basically called both her and Kakashi disposable

That was first time Naruto mentioned his ninja way and stuck with it to the end. At Naruto's core is a lot of people, not just Iruka. They didn't influence his ninja way because he didn't have any other convictions other than be hokage and be recognized by everyone.

Iruka's pretty special to him though and should be behind him in the OP's post. That or his mom.

@Bold, where did you get that from? Any manga scans? I provided a manga scan that showed Iruka is the most influential figure in Naruto's life. Not Zabuza, not Haku , not Sasuke, not Jiraiya... but the very man who saved him from despair, and taught him the basics of being a ninja.

His ninja way is "never give up" "don't go back on my words". All Zabuza and Haku did was show him how other ninja are like, and he chose to be simply not like them. Not denying their influence over him, since he does respect them and all.


Reason why his mom can't be the most influential, is simply due to the reason, they didn't save him from despair, weren't there when he needed people to be by his side.

Of course she couldnt go through with it.Sakura is hardly the type of person to actually execute a killing move.Translators on NF said that in 693 when she said "I couldnt trade blows with you" she had actually intended to kill Sasuke and be killed by him at the same time
But saying she would choose Sasuke over Naruto when push came to shove is wrong IMO.She would not be able to kill Sasuke but she will support Naruto

Except Naruto had a convinction for doing so. Even Sakura herself was not disappointed by his choice. Naruto did not choose to kill him, Naruto said that if both him and Sasuke fought, they would both die. Meaning that he was willing to die with his hatred and bear it in death.

Now tell me again how that is comparable to her situation?

Sakura did not contribute much to the 'making' of Naruto.
Naruto was shaped by Jiraya the most. Bee also helped a lot. Emotionally Kushiana, Minato and Sasuke shaped him.

Hashirama was shaped by the wars and Madara the most. Mito's role only came towards the end.

Kushiana had some influence on Minato. You forgot Konan's influence on Naga to.

Obi to was shaped by Rin.

But there are many major characters which have not been shaped by women. They include Madara(don't count BZ, that is not the kind of influence you are trying to establish here), Sasuke Itachi, Orochimaru etc. So no its not a theme.

My point still stands, if Sakura wasn't beside Naruto at certain points the manga would've ended prematurely.

That's why I said she would try to at least, to gain acceptance. She seemd on the side of wanting to earn his respect, or to find out if he was at least thinking about her, rather than focusing on the task at hand. Which only brought me to conclude she was thinking about him thoroughly throughout the War. With him there, I feel as if those thoughts and emotions were heightened.

I'm not saying Iruka isn't the most influential. I'm just stating Zabuza and Haku showed him the reality of a Shinobi's life. A tool of their country or someone else. Naruto never said his Nindo until after he met them:

It's weird he'd call his Suns people who weren't there for him but he still said they gave him enough love to get through things.
